French Canadian LAG. Not sure exactly how he plays, but for sure he playing loose and going after pots, applying pressure. Definitely spewy. Pretty sure he is a good hand reader.

Hero is new to table. Have played before briefly with LAG. Possibly seen as a Nit.

$1/$2

Two limpers to hero (cover) in CO who makes it $15 w TT, LAG ($200) calls in BB, both limpers call ($400 each).

Flop: ($52) KT6

Checked to hero who bets $45, LAG calls, rest fold.

Turn: ($142) 6

LAG has $140 behind,Hero bets $50

I think you can just check. Hope he gets there or value bets thin OTR.

Youre cbetting into 3? Players and barreling and seen as a nit, this guy is folding everything really.

Doubt anyone spazzes often with these stack sizes on this board without a strong hand. Prob just bet $60 turn and shove all rivers.

Wj you think a bet is better then a check why? You think we get 3streets from KQ-KJ this way?

With us having a spewy read I like checking hoping he bluffs river wide because he wants us to fold QQ or w/e he puts us on.

I would like the weak bet if he had more behind. With his stack, I probably check and hope he pushes river. Let's hope he has a 6 or K.

I actually really like an even smaller lol bet here of like $30. Many LAGs on a FD or Broadway draw here will try to pounce on that and CRAI, or if he has a weak made hand or decides to play his draw passively, we get a little more value than if we check behind.

Well you have a boat on a drawy K high board so betting seems like a pretty good idea. No need for FPS with these stack sizes.

Exactly. Worse thing can be where we check behind and let the flush come in where he otherwise would have given us action with a K.

The turn bet is small enough where it's likely he'll call either with a king or a flush draw.

I have so many mental notes on players who show significant preflop+flop action then suddenly check turn. It's always the nuts, unless you're a super laggy player who just iso's and cbets constantly, which is basically nobody at 1/2. Your turn bet is perfect, looks very weak, villain is calling with 100% of his range here.

Love the $50 turn bet

1) get value from draws who don't want to fold for such a good price
2) get value from made hands that don't want to be bluffed out by a draw

Sets up a $240 pot and you can shove $90 and lay great odds for villain on the river with his entire value range.
