from a 2-5 game with a mandatory straddle. Villain has ~850 in his stack, Hero covers.

Hero raises to 50 from UTG with TT. Only caller is Villain in the BB.

flop 7hThKc

I might have mixed up which 2 cards were suited. Villain IMMEDIATELY bets 100. When I say immediately, I mean I'm not even sure if he saw all 3 cards before betting. He may have only seen the window card which I believe was the K. We call (should we raise here?).

turn 7hThKq As (pot is ~300)

Villain jams for 725. Is this a snap call?

Now, does your answer change given the following information. While H is thinking, Villain does a few interesting things. After about 5 seconds, he pushes his cards towards the betting line as preparing to muck. When the dealer, who had his head turned, looks back, he actually reaches towards V's cards to muck them but realizes it was not a fold. Villian starts joking around with the dealer and I think even high-fives/fist bumps either the dealer or another player. Basically, Villain is acting super comfortable and I don't think it's an act. I'm pretty sure he thinks he is good here.

Given that info, what are you doing? Assuming you are calling, how confident are you that you are good here?

For 85BBs effective, yes, this is a super snap call. There is plenty of AK in his range, and AA/KK would almost always have 3-bet pre.

Yes, you definitely have to call.
The only specific hand that makes sense that beats you is QJhh and I don’t think V would snap bet that hand so quick without taking a bit of time to process his massive draws.

And yes, I would also raise the flop. But there is no getting away from this hand.
I think V has AK.

Why does only QJhh make sense here vs any other suited QJ combo (or maybe even QJ offsuit?)

Yes, this is a fist pump shove and yes we should essentially always be raising middle set on wet flops like this.

Because that’s the only hand strong enough to donk into a serious UTG raise on this board that actually wants to build a pot right away. That and AKhh makes sense.
Regardless, even if you think he can have all 4 combos of suited QJ, it’s still a fist pump snap call.

ok, glad everyone agreed it's a snap call.

Spoiler:
I called, river comes out an A, and he flips AK

Board is too wet to slow play this middle set here. I'm sorry you got cold-decked here. I'd keep my eye on this dealer as I think fist-bumping/joking familiarly with a player in a live hand is unprofessional.
