All in. Also, the pot on the flop is $510ish. We have $1275 effective, I bet more like $325-$400 here, and plan on getting it in vs. a raise or shipping the turn.

As played, you'll have a slightly awkward, >PSB left on the turn if you get flatted on the flop.

If he's lucky enough to have hit a set in this spot, there's not much you can do about it. He would play 99-QQ the same way so you're ahead of most of his range. Now, given your effective stack size, you can fold and pick a better spot. If he's that spewy, you may catch him later. Shoving is very tempting but I can find reasons to fold.

It's really hard to read your post.

What's your read on the Villain's range?

Might he do this with QQ or JJ?

Guys, he said villain is a spewy fish, that calls with bad draws etc. We're stacking off here with KK.

I generally agree with you (I said in my original post that we're ahead of most of his range) but I'm wary of the size of his raise. In my experience, the fish would move all-in for the rest of his stack here with A8 or some kind of bluffy hand instead of making it 3x. Just my opinion.

Against a competent tag, fold to flop raise as his range is AA/KK. In fact, I'd check flop oop for pot control.

Against villain as described in OP, I shove. You're crushing his range. You don't want to stack off with one pair against most tight/passive opponents, but this guy sounds like a maniac. If he has AA or a set/two pair, it's a cooler. He could easily do this with AK or QQ/JJ or worse.

He may not think he is bluffing. He makes this play with 99-QQ more than he does with a set IMO. If he happens to have AA well played him. Obv only play is fold or all in so I'm getting it in.

Sry if the Post was a little jumbled its the first hand i ever posted Anyway HERO ships it Villian had 88 for top set and hit quads on turn My thought process was I didnt think he would call $160 more with 88 so I thought it was either AA-JJ and I thought AA might have 4-bet preflop but in hindsight i prob should have folded due to the big 3x flop raise but I had been playing for 22 hrs straight and i think my thought process was a little impaired !!! thx for the input guys
