nothing has happened at this table. villain is nitty, i haven;t sat for that long.

1)do you think the turn is a mandatory bet to protect from FDs and overcards, with a small chance of folding an overpair

2)once he calls, do you think a bluff on the river is best or just check it down and usually lose.

1) No

2) If you bet the turn, I hope you will bet the river when called.

1) No

2) I don't like a river bet for value b/c a lot of times against a nit you're not going to get called by a hand that you beat. He doesn't call on the end with AsKs if he misses or may even check if he hits the A or K on river, doubt he has the 6. Basically, what do you beat that he can call on the end with...9's if no scare card hits. He folds two overs, missed FD, and calls with two pair or better (not likely given his passiveness) as well as JJ thru AA and AK with JJ being the most likely holding if called. Think you check behind or maybe call a reasonable bet size if you think he will bluff on the end with a missed draw, otherwise fold to a river bet.

Yea, but bluffing the river kind of sucks because we are repping a set since we didnt raise flop.

1)]] nah he is prolly checking his whole range there and ur somewhere in the middle, imo he is checking overpairs more then ak there...(amybe,... maybe not..personally i double barell there agaisnt floaters)...
2)[[ u dont need to bet it and he'll prolly check it twice with everything eh has in his dirty hands. but i guess firing twice is moer profitable especially against someone who cant wait to fold 1 pairz on scary boardz

I still think with out some sort of history or killer read I still check behind. If you know he is capable of laying down an over pair on scare board then I say, why not but otherwise check behind and make a note.

u can do it even without history and take a note that he is not capable of folding overpair too but no worries maybe u get c/r on river and wont need to take any boring notes

I like the turn bet. When called, I think we check behind on the river. I'd assume his turn call indicates willingness to call river. His range is pretty much dead on the turn for what you represent, so I think he is looking you up.
