thank you and stay safe mang!!
Thanks Squid. Not sure about the hospitals in the SF area. I know they've been setting up tents to screen people before they enter, but I don't know if they're being overloaded or anything yet.
So my county issued an shelter in place order for 3 wks. Violation of the order is considered a misdemeanor.
Main points for individuals are :
-You have to maintain a minimum distance of 6 ft from another person when outside your home.
-People can leave their residence for essential functions only.
This is defined basically as anything you need medically or food/water and anything you would need for safety in your residence. So grocery store, pharmacy, hospital. Other than that you stay home.
For me my place of work already had us working from home a couple of weeks ago. They've tightened up this week adding on that you actually can't come into work unless you have authorization. I had to go in yesterday and it was basically a ghost town. They asked me a bunch of questions at the gate and also took my temperature.
Everyone's continuing to work from home for the next 3 wks at least.
For me, not much different other than not being able to go out to eat and having to work out at home.
I stocked up on supplies pretty early on when I first heard about what was happening in Wuhan. I had a feeling it wasn't going to be good. So I haven't had to do much shopping other than just getting things I want for the week like steaks and eggs. I heard there was a run on all the stores yesterday when people heard the lockdown happened. I guess they were under the impression that grocery stores wouldn't be operating.
If you do go out there's significantly less traffic out on the streets so that's nice.
Other than that nothing out of the ordinary. No Purge scenarios yet, but I did stock up on ammunition just in case.
