I think 50 is good size for value or bluff.

I don't think anything you beat calls $100 unless you have history of bluffing, etc., w/ this friend. I'd go $40 - $50 for value.

hard to tell on what level we are at the moment. he has been pretty sticky vs other regs lately. also he knows a lot of my hh's (since we share and discuss lines) - i am capable of taking this line/sizing as a bluff. one hand against him in particular has stayed in my mind (at the time, i still considered him a nitty player, not willing to make herocalls): mp (vil) vs bb (hero), hu srp, he played cbet/call, call, call on 99xxA w/ AQ deep stacked.

This isnt a spot where you have any bluffs after checking BB and then leading flop (which btw is a x/r not a lead). What you really should have done is dropped the hammer on the turn, make it a cool $100. Now you can jam river which looks more bluffy and he may feel committed with whatever calls a $100 turn raise.

Good on you for not mentioning irrelevant details like race "MP1 looks egyptian with some mongolian lineage, BTN is clearly of nordic decent but probably prefers dating asian women" etc

I am pretty tempted to raise/fold the turn. Such a large River OB seens too greedy, villain took a non-standard line and doesn't seem that strong - Hero shouldn't have many bluffs either.

true, the overbet seems greedy, however, i think that my value range is pretty narrow as well and my range wants to bet big/polar. i have no 5x trips in this spot and my Kx top pair hands check back, so i have just full houses for value and busted fds as bluffs. also if vil has trash, he folds anyway. i guess that he calls pretty inelastic here based on our history, if we wants to bluffcatch with some Kx or checked the str8 with the intention to x/call (probably scared of full houses), he will call anyway no matter whats the size.

If you think he will call the same frequency at any size, why aren’t you jamming?

Good point, however, I think that I am not allowed to jam, because Villain could still have K5 and 54 in his range, which protects him. And there's the problem, that I don't know what my bluffing hands are in this spot.

He later said that he had K2.

The idea that you don’t know what your bluffs are so you can’t value bet strikes me as kinda silly. You can always be unbalanced towards value and hope your opponent makes a mistake!

I understand the turn call, robot says I haz two pair so I call, but people just don't bluff here enough and they so so often spazz value donk bet with all the hands that beat us. Like they probably need to be bluff leading any 43/Ax/66 to make up for it, even though they might lead the one combo of worse two pair it's not enough.

If it's an unknown fish it might be closer to a call because they can decide to value lead KJ, afraid you'll check back now the board is scarier and are more likely to raise flop with better two pair.

River is w/e you probably get called by all straights for 50 or 100, and maybe A5 dito. Also makes it easier if you bet 100 and get raised, although so often here if you bet 50 people will value min. raise to 100 anyway. If you can get loose calls from people who don't know what their range looks like, for 40-50 that'd be good.
