doesn't make sense, if you raise pre why wouldn't you want to protect your hand vs 2 FD's by raising the turn? he can literally fire a big barrel on half the deck on the river that completes a flush so you're calling? folding?

Nit has 44, A4 suited and you chop or 46 Suited and you ship it. You ether commit to call the 3bet and continue or fold the 3bet imo

raise bigger on turn. fold to 3bet on turn. you have a lot of 46 in your range here so a nit is never 3betting a bare 4 for value, and his combo draws have pretty good equity

i guess maybe it can somehow be a call on the river because he should be shoving all his missed draws now. but probably still fold.

This isn't an easy call against a live nit, and I'm not sure why everyone is making it look like it is.

Against described villain, I'm assuming he is only putting in that extra turn raise with 4xcc or 46.

I def like flatting turn, esp against a nit who is going to fold a lot of hands we beat.

Grunch. You have to call. You lose to 64 & chop with other 4s. But if he's nitty, specifically if he's an older nitty guy, then he has a lot of other hands in his range (sets & 2 pr) that he might just go crazy with. Some of these guys who are super nitty just can't let go of their "big" hands. They only understand the absolute strength of their hand.

Completely disagree. The straight possibility here is pretty obvious, and unless V is some special kind of a donator, almost every bad nitty 5-10 reg will have a 4 in this spot. It's just a matter of how often you think he shows up with 46 to justify a call.
