Home game, .25/.50 cents.

Hero, $150 (Solid Reg, Big winning player. crushing the game for $19 an hour at 200 hour sample size)
Villain, $34 (Solid player, but still sometimes ships light if senses weakness, plays by feel a lot)

Action:
(Hero hasnt played a hand in a while, decided to mix it up a little.)
Hero K4, raises in late pos to $2, folded to Villain in SB, Villain Calls, heads up.

Flop is 246 Rainbow.

Villain checks, Hero bets $3, Villain calls.

Turn is 5. (no flush draws present)

Villain checks, Hero checks.

River is K, Villain checks, Hero bets $8,

Villain thinks for a while, signs in agony a couple times, then goes all in for $22 more.

Don't be embarrassed you played Kd4c... it's okay, we all used to do it. Just stop doing it before it eats up your bankroll in these marginal spots you'll only get into with it.

Snap fold. When someone 'sighs in agony' and then shoves they have the nuts 99/100.

Omg, bet less OTR. It's a bet fold always, no-one's bluffing at you on this spot. Bet $5-$6 OTR and fold to any raise.

If you were playing Kd4c this is an easy call because they obviously sensed the weakness you gave off by playing a non-sooted hand. If your cards were sooted then you have to fold because villain obviously sensed great strength and yet still raised you all-in on the river. If you actually had K3 perhaps you should pay more attention to your hand because you had a straight!!!!

Honestly, why do you possibly need advice here? It's a simple spot and you've already told us that you win 38xBB an hour, which is about three times the rates people cite on here all the time, when most of THOSE are exaggerated to begin with.

If you thought the hand was good enough to bet on the flop, it was good enough to lead again on Fourth. It's especially critical to bet again as you definitely don't want to be giving any free draws to Ax.

As for that sighing before going all-in, that's a major tell. Unless you have a good reason to believe he's doing a reverse fake, snap fold.
