Before spending time reading. Can you give cliffs on the following

Did you get tested?
Are you still putting others at risk by playing while being sick?

If the answer to number 2 is yes, I will be unsubbing but wish you luck

Rob or other guys who have inputs: where to go if i want good study material on live full ring PLO strategy tuned in for todays games?

Like, i want some updated stuff- not outdated old things. My first instinct was that Crush Live Poker should have me covered if i sign up?

I was able to get tested this morning. Will have to wait several days for results. Hopefully they are positive (covid positive). I had a good night sleep last night and am feeling pretty pretty good.

A friend of mine did CLP PLO stuff about a year ago (pre COVID at least) and he learned a lot. But he was a total PLO noob. Not sure what level you are or what progression they have.

What stakes are you playing and what stakes do you want to play?

The most common stake around here available to me is 1/3. But its plays very deep and i would say its more like 2/5 in reality considering the amounts that is in play on the table. every pot is at least staddled once, often double straddled. Its not uncommon for the table to have between $12-15K on it through the night when its good action.

Ive played a decent amount of PLO at this point through the years, but i very likely have some leaks here and there, spots i dont take full advantage of, i want to polish my ranges so they are accurate and so forth. So my aim with studying a bit is to raise my winrate in the games and polish my game so to speak.

As i gauge the poker environment around me, pretty much all the money is gonna be made in PLO over the next 2-5 years, so it makes sense for me to put in efforts to get better in PLO and make sure my game is up to par.

Gotta use the same hand or else you risk giving yourself Coronaids, imo.

I liked jnandez’s material despite him being a scumbag.

I don’t know anything about the plo material on the site I work for and I won’t just blindly shill

That’s obviously theory based and more geared for online which speaks to me

Got out there for opening day. Seems like a lot of people were excited to get out onto the hill after last seasons shortened season. Face coverings are required. Staff was reminding people in the lift line to keep their face coverings over their noses. They were also at the top station reminding people to cover up once they got off the lift. Initially the party line was only people that came together would ride the chairlift together. The open lift was a 6 pack and as the lines got longer they said doubles could ride with other doubles with 2 spaces between if they felt comfortable doing so. It was human pinball on the WROD - so I opted out after a couple o runs...but it was really good to be back on the boards. Mountain is only open to season pass holders (no day tix sold). And reservations are required. Looks like they may open another lift tomorrow. We have reservations every day through thanksgiving.

Did your mountains put a limit on the number of season pass holders? I know some of our mountains did; my sister was caught off guard by this and for the first time in umpteen years (she's a ski rat) she finds herself without a season pass to her local mountain.

That sounds odd to me coming from the great white north. I have never skied without a 'face-covering' aka scarf or neck warmer wrapped above the nose. And I would recoil at the thought of a 'season pass'

GG - I dont think they limited season passes. PCMR is part of vail resorts epic pass and they just sell as many of those bad boys as they can. It will be an interesting season for sure. I have zero clue as to how many skiers they max their reservation system at. But as of now there are no days on the calendar that are closed cuz they are booked full.

That's weird. I'd ski without pants before I'd ski without a face covering.
