I have been to one professional NBA game. I saw the Warriors play vs Kevin Durant in game six or something of the playoffs. Was dope.

I would live in texas if I was white. I tried arizona but when I shave I look mexican, and when I dont shave I look arabic, not a good look when border patrol is everywhere. Arizona has great gun laws and might be the best place in the country to pull women. If I were rob or randal I would move there

Dallas, but it's North of Interstate 635 which in my worldview makes it Oklahoma (all the okies live up there).

I had another weird 1/2 hand today. Flop was J43 and everyone checks to this dude who bets $3 into this limped multi-multi-way pot. Everyone else calls and I call with Q2.

Turn is another 3 (offsuit) and dude bets $5. This time people are folding and I raise it to $20. Right before the action is on me I'm thinking this dude probably bet $3 on the flop because he has a 3 in his hand but if he actually has a 3 then why the hell would he only bet $5 on this super wet board, so that's why I stuck with my plan to raise.

River is an offsuit jack so board is J433J. At this point I'm thinking it's likely dude has a Jack, and how the hell can I have a Jack when I raised the turn so I abandon my plan to bomb river and instead just bet $25 hoping to fold out missed flush draws, missed Ax gutshots, maybe fold a 4 or other small pocket pair. Dude tank folds 3x bottom boat face up wtf?!

Screw that. I'm addicted to living for free (RTP living, FTW).


Quick math tells me that a full time poker pro playing at TCH will pay $26k/year in fees ($13/hr). That's pretty insane. I can't even fathom what it would be in Los Angeles.


Dallas hardly even has police anymore. It's turning into the wild wild west here. I suppose it's probably like that in other places too. Of course rich people hire the police to work some overtime patrolling their neighborhoods. Everyone else is SOL. Good for law breakers though.

Arizona, California, and Texas. In Texas specifically I would say Dallas or San Antonio...maybe the Rio Grande Valley. Midland/Odessa when oil prices are high. I would exclude Houston only because who the hell in their right mind would actually want to live there? Excluding El Paso because it's pretty much New Mexico plus too many annoying border check points well inside the border.

honestly think it was a smart move. That’s $15k+ after-tax money saved that can be used to max out a Roth, invest in myself etc.

All true except the LLC/pay yourself bit. If you file as a professional then by definition that goes on Sch C which means the SE tax is applicable. That income would qualify as earned and this allow retirement contributions
