Most ski resorts with gondolas offer bike lifts in the summer. I've ridden at Keystone, Vail and Copper in the summer before. The resorts are starting to re-open for summer activities now.

It generally takes about 90 minutes to climb up the front side of most ski resorts on fire roads, and there are singletrack trails that you can take to get down. These are ranked the same as ski trails, green-blue-black by difficulty.

If you're not deep into the downhill MTB world where you're sending off rocks and wearing body armor and full face helmets, there's not a lot of difference between different mountains, since the greens will be plenty of action for you, or most people.

I approached a gaggle at a 'networking event' [getting buzzed] who turned out to be from Orange County. About 15 minutes the head mean girl said "Aren't you going to take my order?"



Turns out I was the only one wearing a mask who didn't work for the bar. There were @30 fearless entrepreneurs and all were angry at news of mandatory mask orders were happening town by town. Worked on a repair crew for a Baby Bell (not U break it, I fix it type place) and we had (at least) 2 guys named Jose. So, of course, one was Jose, and one was Hose B. This was 30+ years ago. I'm not sure it was racist, as at least half the crew was Latino (no women)

Given how many Chinese people are in Toronto, Toronto Dave and HK Dave could easily be the same lol.

Fairly certain we probably discussed whether distinguishing them as White Dave and Asian Dave.

Still remember watching a UFC bout and after the announcers finally distinguish the fighters based on the colours of their trunks, Joe Rogan (iirc) says "I've never understood why we don't just say 'Dude A is the white guy and Dude B is the black guy'".

Oh yeah Vancouver is the most Chinese city in the western hemisphere.

I watched the David Chang Netflix show with Seth Rohan- they visited Vancouver and the Chinese food looked off the charts incredible.

It is. The food I had the last time I was there was nothing short of amazing.

Vancouver has great Japanese food as well. Food is general is very overpriced in Vancouver except for Sushi, where I find that you get more fish for your buck there than anywhere else in North America. And their sushi restaurants serve imported Japanese fish that you just don't find elsewhere.
