ummm, this is the internet. you're some person on a keyboard, somewhere in the world. that is the only thing i'm 100% certain of. how are any of us supposed to know if you are telling the truth about your background or not? you could embellish or outright lie about your past and none of us would know or be able to prove it.

typically, people don't lie about their planned path forward, so you saying what your goals are is going to be taken as what you actually want. but any back story could be 100% true, 100% false or some where in between. and the overwhelming majority of people on the internet, back stories are 'somewhere in between'. that isn't a RtP thing, that's just an everyone thing.

so if you don't understand why we've all take everything you've said with a grain of salt, that is part of the reason why and maybe you can start to see things from our perspective a little. another part is that we have seen this dog and pony show a bunch of times. it typically doesn't work out the way the person expects it to. and like the teacher in my story before to you, it gets tiresome when every student comes to tell you they're going to be grand master.

i've tried to explain this to you before [ie, our POV], but you seem to not understand it. i'm not sure how else to try. honestly not sure it even matters.

so i guess my real question is, what do you get out of posting here, specifically in this thread, if you don't like mostly everyone's attitude toward you?

i only ask because you seem adamant about not taking any advice from people in here and feel the need to defend yourself from people you've never met, but it's a battle that doesn't need to be fought because it's pretty pointless. so i just don't get what you're getting out of it.

LOL, HWSNBN was delusional about his poker abilities, but was otherwise a normal dude.

RoadtoPro on the other hand, has zero social awareness or sense of humor. He sees nearly the entire thread respond negatively to him, and rather than think "hmm what did I do to cause this situation?" thinks "everyone else is stupid and can't handle that I'm just smarter than everyone." He bashes everyone else's poker abilities even though he hasn't accomplished anything in poker himself. His idea of "humor" is calling everyone else a has-been despite the fact that the vast majority of people here (me being one of the exceptions) lead happy lives not playing poker for a living.

I'll be hugely surprised if he finds any woman who wants to touch him anytime within the next 5 years.
