Was gonna weigh in on your acoustic/electric dilemma, but Mr. Spyu and Skwid covered it already. Nothing wrong with starting with electric at all. It’ll actually be easier.
I basically need not post anymore because Mr. Spyu spews my thoughts before I can log on.

This is old news at this point, but curious if ya scooped up anything at the road show or if it changed your mind at all.

I highly recommend just getting exactly what you want and not sweating it if it’s an extra few hundred bucks cuz who cares about a few hundred bucks in the long run?

I need to look up these headphones you mentioned.

I Fought the Law by The Clash (Original by The Crickets)

Superman by REM (Original by The Clique)

Black Magic Woman by Santana (Original by Fleetwood Mac)

China Girl by David Bowie (Original by Iggy Pop)

And to return the favor, Real Wild Child (Wild One) by Iggy Pop (original by Johnny O'Keefe)

Take Me to the River by Talking Heads (Original by Al Green)

Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood by Elvis Costello (Original by Nina Simone. No, not The Animals. Their version was a cover too.)

I also really like Shiny Toy Guns cover of Major Tom, but it really isn't different from the Peter Schilling original except that it has a female vocalist.
there's been a cover of Zombie (Cranberries) that I listen to much more than the original

Spoiler:

what did you think I meant

Zombie by Bad Wolves is a pretty solid cover.

Sound of Silence by Disturbed is also very good

Agree on Disturbed, but Bad Wolves' cover is tre lame. They got their 15 minutes out of it, but I'm glad to see the fad die out.

I will stop complaining about AA for a few months. Played a hand yesterday that made up for the years worth of beat downs I took.

25/50/100/200

A few limps, I make it 1600 with black Aces from the bb (50). 2 calls - 1 from the 200 double straddle and 1 from one of the limpers.

QT3ssd
I 2k, double straddle calls, other folds

Turn is a blank 6 or 7 iirc

I check he bets 10k, I tank ship for 22k and win both run outs vs what I presume was 89ss

I'm being gradually boiled back into pop culture by the tvs at Globogym, they play music videos and display the artists' name. The Bad Wolves elicits the beer commercial meme Nothing beats an original. That being said, the cover is in the same hard rock grind as the original, but the artist is much less cute.

I'm quite mad at AA. It took them 2 hours to issue us vouchers. Then I learn I have to drive to the airport to redeem it, welcome to 1996.

But seriously NH with the surprise c/r.

Xtra - played a few more models and it has crystallized even more that I want that particular size as well as the cut away. Now I just need to decide how beautiful I want the wood to be.

Guitars can be truly awesome pieces of work. My dad was a collector and I spent a bit of time in music stores as a kid. I can still get lost for hours in a Sam ash or a guitar center like the one at town center here in Vegas.

Double digits with ~7" late yesterday with another ~5"-7" over night. We're at Copper and they opened Alpine chair today for the first time this season. Was easily 3' deep in spots. No turning or you were stuck, straight elevens.

I ride the Black Crows Atris, @178 length and 108 underfoot.

wow sick fade twice! Reminds me of that Andrew Robl vs PA PLO hand.
Where Robl has a full wrap and PA only has TP. They run it 3 times and One pair holds up.
