Yeah I love the shot of the astronauts swagging down the hall. I was surprised to find out the song wasn't even written for Enterprise. Still IMO if the exact same intro was made for random SciFi product it would be their best. Star Trek just had some of the GOAT opening themes. This week our local orchestra is playing a medley of Trek themes 30 years later.

Any guesses OGs?

ElDiesel?
Homer?
DHCG?

I’m clueless. diesel had the biggest beef with 11t but I think he’s still posting under his own name

Homer feels like the guy who’d threaten a barista with something ridiculous and he’s banned…but did he have an 11t obsession?

Dane just because

I learned the basics of surfing at one point, but the paddling out part has always been my bane. Other had difficulty popping up or catching waves, but my problem was just getting to the waves. Because of that, I often surfed the shore break, which tended to end in getting ground against the sand.

Rick wasn’t in the Chat thread when 11t was a thing. Homer the clear betting favourite I’d think

Not to derail whatever this is but…

My good friend who I referred to in my last Vegas trip thread passed away this morning.

Got a text message just as I was cashing out my biggest win in over 2 years. Just over 6 BI.

See you soon my friend. It will be a send off for the ages.

I am very sorry to hear that, prairie. I'll raise a glass in solidarity.

My condolences.

Got up to the Mountains this weekend for the storm. Was supposed to be a 2-day trip. Third chair in Jr twists his knee in a freak accident. Weekend over. We played lots of bumper pool with KingSpew instead.

Had a proud dad moment though. We were going turn for turn hauling next to each other. Not sure there are words to describe the smile and joy I had.

Jr had his moment too... when he beat dad at bumper pool. Just once but it was fun to watch.

Hope he recovers soon.

Man poker is a stupid, stupid game.

Was up over $5K today before getting coolered in 1 hand for almost all of it (set rivered by oesd).

When I finally get out of this worst downswing ever I'm going to reward myself and buy a 4th car, for going through all of this bullshit and never giving up.

Still won $600 today I guess it could be worse.

prairie, I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

APD, King, et al. Hope you guys had better conditions than down in suburbia. Unusual for here, heavy, wet snow.

Condolences, Prairiebreeze.

I remember you talking last summer about what a gut punch it was to find out about his diagnosis. It really brings into focus how nothing is promised.

Your message is as good then as it is now: live life with no regrets, for the people we care about. It’s a powerful message, and one I’ve tried to take to heart.

Worst part of my drive to the mountains yesterday was getting out of my own neighborhood. ~10"-12" of tire-trenched, wet heay snow with a bunch of crust on top.

The sun has taken care of our driveway, but the cul-de-sac is in rough shape.

My sister was visiting last weekend and she had a FWD mazda crossover rental with bad tires. She got it stuck on a hill in my neighborhood on Saturday afternoon, and I told her I would go take care of it by going back down the hill and around the block on a better-plowed street. Then when I got back into my neighborhood at the top of the block, I got the car stuck turning on to my street. Some neighbors helped me dig it out for 30 minutes. Was some of the worst driving conditions I've ever seen in GDMA in 20 years.

Thank you all. It’s really gutting right now.

Waiting on memorial details before I travel cross continent for the third time since October.
