Of course man. Ty for dropping in to say that!

That’s a very good point, sir, although you’d be surprised.

I think this would be true if mental game work wasn’t a thing. And from my understanding, it largely wasn’t in the past.

To give you an example—- I set a challenge to spend 100 hours on mental game work last month (and completed it) and heading into this month I have a newfound outlook on what’s possible for A game.

It’s a continual process though!

Okay, I very much apologize for the back to back posts gentlemen.

RTP posts now have the same tone as landon tices

Is Tice well known? I'm so out of touch with poker "celebs" now. His bet seemed doomed to fail unless it was a total whale, which apparently wasn't the case.

Lundon tyse is well known to only 2p2ers. Seems like a poseur who ran hot in some smaller games and is not exactly teachable based on my readings. His mother also likes to defend him on the twitter which is entertaining fosho.

I don’t think he’s well known, although I only use Twitter selectively.

He seems to be very active on there

He seems very disingenuous and mostly in the business of networking so I’m not a fan personally, but also not a fan of crushing others when they’re down so no comment on the challenge

Sorry to hijack~

No sarcasm at all- I’m not particularly sure what you’re referring to, Rob. It seems negative.

Can you message me? Always looking to improve my communication skills and I’d appreciate the constructive criticism.

Thanks!

Maybe whatever you're doing is simply improving your B game.

A game has always been pretty rare for me. But then again, who needs A game in LLSNL?

I’m assuming nobody cares so I’ll put this in spoilers

Not just for poker. I’m a lot calmer and collected irl too!

Spoiler:
i can’t speak for everyone, but I’ve been doing 30 ish mins both pre and post session (mix of meditation, visualization, hypnotherapy, journaling, etc)

The post session routine is underrated, given it’s important imo to be able to ease into the rest of your day mostly unaffected by the swinginess of gamboolin

A lot of it is preparing yourself to play more A game hours too. Not just improving the quality of the hours you’re already accustomed to playing.

Most people dont have an A game cuz they accept mediocrity in just about every aspect of their life, which is a big reason y llsnl is beatable. I personally dont accept it in my life so I play my A game a large percentage of the time and my B game is pretty damn good too

Just curious. What do you all consider your A game? What are things you’re doing (or not doing) that would define it?

What about your B game?

Good question. I guess for me is the ability to calculate EV on the fly, which includes combinatorics and pot odds.

Bar is pretty high, maybe that’s why I don’t think I play much A game.

Man my brain is too clouded with cortisol and THC to say anything interesting during posting hours.

Poker chatter ITT recently has been interesting, maybe I’ll make my way up the hill to contribute some content.

“A” game for me is when I’m hitting cards so my LAG tendencies pay off LDO

Thanks, hadn't heard of him before the prop bet so was curious.

I’d rather not post a wall of text in here as some ppl aren’t interested and it’s going to be pretty hard to fade a healthy mix of sarcasm

I was planning to do a write up on this though so I’ll link it over probably when that happens

I’ll just say that if you don’t have a pre session routine, you’re likely not playing your A game IMO at any point in the session. Food for thought

It’s like a basketball player not warming up or what not. Don’t see why poker would be different

Even if you’re playing recreationally, professionalism is valuable

So I don’t think there is anyway to fix this without small claims but here’s what happened

Saw a few cars at this dealership in LA. So I got approved for a couple cars I liked and so I made a trip to LA. I drove to my brothers house , dropped my car off and Ubered to the dealership

I get there and the cars that I liked are not in the best condition so they show me some nicer cars and I pick one , pay for it and leave back to vegas. It ends up being $500 more than they have the advertised. They tell me it’s a finance fee but it’s not listed on the contract that way. My car is staying at my bros.

I drive the car to Palmdale and get a flat. Take her to a tire shop nearby and they said the aftermarket wheels are wrong for car and the tires were too small on the wheels for that car and that the tires were going to fail. They say that all the tires are bad but they only have the front two tires in stock. So I get those tires and then drive an hour when I get another flat

So I park the car. Tell dealership to get car. I take an Uber to my bro’s and drive back to vegas. This was Saturday. We text today and they say they find new wheels for me but they said they need new tires but they will split it with me.

So I will take a greyhound down to la and then Uber from station to the dealership then drive the car home.

I feel like I need to sue for $500 and the cost of the tires and the time I spent traveling plus the car was listed as being sold with 20” rims so I need to be made full for that as well

Sound good or sound like BS?

First two Tires I paid for with Amex and can probably get refunded via dispute. Second tires I haven’t paid for yet but I feel like I shouldn’t pay for those either. Travel time makes sense to me too

The frequency you seem to need to sue people leads me to believe that at some point you are simply not doing due diligence on your part.

If you start off your day by running into an *******, then you simply had the misfortune of meeting an *******.

If you meet *******s all day, then it is very likely that you are actually the *******.

Ok well I’m still gonna sue them. I’ve bought over 15 cars in my life and I have never had an issue with the tires. And I inspected the tread but I didn’t realize the sidewall was so small. They were toyos and I was excited

Sounds more like you don't know how to inspect a tire.

What kind of shady ass dealerships are you going to?

Too many red flags, cut and run would have been a given before purchasing anything

This is exactly why I bought a car from a dealership.

I didn’t plan out 10hours of my day just to leave over $500

I think most dealerships are shady
