Just want to double check - most casinos use CLAY chips right? I’m thinking about buying a set of chips and see a bunch of ceramic options. Are ceramic chips any good?

Congrats Garick. I don’t normally browse this thread but happened to see your message. Has to feel good to be done. Where in the south are you headed (if you don’t mind me asking)? It was a great change of pace to move from Boston to Atlanta — one of the best decisions I ever made.

Thanks for the kind words. It feels good to be done, but it hasn't really sunk in yet, as I am now moving straight into Air Force stuff that I'd been putting off and to the move. I am moving to Montgomery Alabama, which is not my first choice of locations, but I'm doing so to teach at the Air Force's graduate school of military education, which is an amazing job, so I'll take the location.

I'd have guessed womens' post-colonial communications. But that's the period of one of my favorite history books.

I set out to get a PhD but opted out after getting my MA when I realized what a massive amount of work it would be and how dim the job prospects were. So congrats on not only completing a really hard task but getting the reward.
