me 3. I was planning on doing a few weeks in Vegas next year from the seniors (which I’ll qualify for in 22) through to the main and behaving like a child for long periods

I’m hoping it might change once everyone’s been vaccinated but all the authorities are ****ing terrified of ruining our Covid free oasis and so I fear that even once we’ve all been vaccinated, they’re gonna insist on retaining the 14 day quarantine for all overseas arrivals.

Maybe once there’s evidence that people can catch it and spread it without being hospitalised, they’ll relax things.

the hope is that they relax the policy by allowing vaccinated returning residents to quarantine at home rather than in hotels (which we have to pay $5k for)

if that's the case I'd be happy to travel, because I'm basically working from home anyway and have a home gym etc and it would reduce by two weeks the amount of time I'd be away from my family for.

no way wifey will buy a 2-3 week trip to Vegas AND 2 weeks quarantine.

Honestly I find purchases of second residences don’t make much sense unless you are renting, etc. I’ve owned 2 different second homes and inevitably it just turned into an unnecessary headache

Yeah this is where we are at with it after exploring some opportunities over the last couple years, with the prices going crazy meanwhile.
