To be fair, I’d really enjoy it, although it wouldn’t be my top choice of things to do in Europe, but no one else in the family would want to do it. I tried to get my wife to do a 7 day walking luxury hike in Lord of the Rings country in NZ a few years ago for an anniversary and we ended flying to Vegas instead
To be fair the latter is a lot of walking.

have not been to paris nor london so unsure how it compares but madrid has 2 museums that are far better individually in their collections than any other art museum i've ever been to and i've been to most of the big ones around the world so long as they aren't in france or england
if you did spain i'd fly into madrid, do the prado and then if you like it check out another one or two and then take a train or rent a car and head to the coast
yes being a nomadic vagabond has its perks at times but at the same time i'd probably stay more grounded and have a regular job with good vacation time (maybe do something like work lucrative but seasonal type stuff where it's easy to take time off certain times of year) if i did it all again, 39, more money tied into dfs bankroll than retirement account and no family of my own nor permanent residence (house in maine is mine but i'm not legally allowed to sell it so it's basically a moeny pit vacation house - spending lots of time renovating it this winter in hopes of turning it into a rental property but now my parents want to live here despite having their own place nearby and just moved in yesterday so fml - complicated inheritance cause grandparents wanted to keep it in the family but didn't believe in setting up a proper structure cause lol legal fees amirite) is a bit of a pre middle life crisis - kinda in panic mode now to get a traditional job, get a place where i'd actually want to live and find a quality girl and impregnate her with dem anchor babies asap
i love the experiences i've had and all the travel, i think i'm very fortunate to be able to just say f it and live in north africa for a year for the lols but as i'm getting white hair mixed in and officially becoming a member of the olds club i can't help but feel most of what i've accumulated and accomplished is ethereal
Yeah about thsoe quality women in your 40s.
