Go SPC! Ride quickly, but safely.

Looks like some nice country, if one were going for seeing the countryside. Cascades, Rockies, Devils Tower, Black Hills. Then, the midwest. Well, it can't all be good.

Ofc, that's not what this is about.

Hmm… don’t quit your new day job
Well you know, 3-bet the high-and-low hands, unblocking their suited connectors, it’s all very GTO, uh, “at a low frequency.”

TO BE SERIOUS: While preflop is obviously spew (I simply felt the opener was too snug to call a 3-bet with anything but a monster), I think my final post-flop decision is close. A guy limped UTG, and cold-called a $50 3-bet and then went all-in on an Ac8h2h flop. It’s $120 to me to win $480. I obviously have ~0% equity against his value hands, but ~45% against most of his flush draws, and I think this type of player (who limp-calls a $50 3-bet UTG) is gonna have a flush draw here we’ll over half the time. So I flick in the call.

Yes I shouldn’t have robbed the liquor store and shouldn’t have led the cops on a high speed chase but once I was in custody I had no choice but to tell the cop to eat my ass

I did also make the WORST call of my life though, in the same session:

Raise 99, SB and limper call. Flop A42 two clubs. Checks through. Turn 9c. SB checks, limper bets $15, I call, SB calls. River offsuit 8. SB checks, limper bets $20, I raise to $60…SB check-raises to $140. Limper folds…..

And facing the most obvious flush in the entire world I of course call. SPOILER: he was NOT bluffing into two people, one of whom had raised the River. He was actually check-raising two people because he had a flush, NOT just the naked Kc blocker.

I know, who could’ve seen that coming?

AA holding ran up to 21 straight last night (had 'em twice). Neither hand particularly interesting, though the statistical anomaly might be.

Also, it occurred to me today that I don't get spam (phone, email or text) on Sundays. Another anomaly I can't explain.

thanks dood! I think her body has this. She bulked really well in prep, putting on 12lbs. It was completely wacky how much crap we had in the house. I really have a tough time saying no so i porked up a bit and am focusing on getting rid of it now.

As for the mind she is focused in the early stages of getting solid 8 hrs sleep option to reduce to 6 later. Most of these guys play it opposite and get minimal sleep. After mile 130 there is no hotels till 200. It also goes into deep sand for an unknown amt of miles and can be quite difficult. So she is canning it early @mile 130 rather than taking that crap on at night and possibly get stuck in order to hit it fresh with a 4am wake up.

Bottom line this event is really training for her 24 hr attempt - so she will be taking no big risks in terms of sleep/feeding

@JOTS it just sounds like the absolute worst to me.

And the rest o u guys spc appreciates the kind words

Just a reminder from the Aussie that painting the inside of your house sucks serious balls and that painting ceilings sucks the fetid, pus infested balls of homeless lepers who haven’t washed since birth

try the outside next and then come back and let us know how great painting the inside of a house is

i actually bought a high end DIY/low end pro sprayer to do the exterior. i haven't even started and i'm regretting even thinking about doing it. but i'm a sucker for tools on sale and it was almost 50% off new, so it's sitting in my garage, never opened for almost a year now.

that link you posted is pretty neat. i've looked at it a couple times now and it's actually kind of fun to watch the progress. i have no clue which one SPC is, but only 4 women, so not too many choices

I once rode my bike from my house to the 7/11 for a slurpee. If I can do that, she can definitely finish this.

Pretty cool tech they are using to track all of this. I thought they’d be out of state by now, but yeah, duh. The 170+ miles she has now is a f-ton, and it’s just the beginning. Seeing this on a map and tracking it makes one realize how “insane” this is!

Wishing her all the best!

I actually tried getting on my bicycle this weekend. Turns out you use your wrist strength (of which I currently have zero in my left wrist) far more than I would have thought (lol, I couldn't even get on it without feeling I was going to fall off). So going to hold off on that for now.
