Game has gone off the rails after a 3-way all in 200 BB deep. Raises are bigger, no one’s folding, it’s just glorious.

I’ve been running the table over. My bluffs are still getting through and my value bets are paid off. Playing well and my image should be really strong.

UTG is a special player, he doesn’t like to fold, calls when he knows he’s beat, raises light, etc.

MP is LP, also a special player in his own right. Can find folds post flop but will pay off light. Also has made some ridiculous decisions recently as the game has gotten more crazy.

Straddle is on. Everyone has 1k and I comfortably cover.

UTG raises to 50, MP calls, I have QQ in the SB and make it 200, both cover.

Flop is T97tt. I have the Q of trump.

I bet 400 with the intention of calling it off.

Critique away.

I would bet slightly less on the flop but only slightly. I think a number that starts with a 3 works better than an even 400 (which is also exactly half of the remaining effective stacks—I’d rather just jam than bet 400).

Otherwise looks fine, unless you wanted to go even bigger preflop.

In retrospect I think I should have gone to 250 pre, small mistake maybe? 200 was a pot-sized raise but maybe being OOP I should have erred on the side of larger as it was likely getting called in both spots.

$250 to $400 pre. Winning $100 without a flop out of the SB is a great outcome. This is about as a bad of a flopas you can get without an A or a K but vs these players described Id rip for last $700 since they don’t sound like the bluffing sort. I also don’t mind folding out two players each with a pair or over cards or AJ in a $900 pot.

What is trump?

250 pre/ jam flop

With 200pre, post flop it leaves an awkward stack to pot ratio, jamming seems like an overplay. Check/jamming seems like the right play, bet 1/3 and call off is reasonable too i guess.

If people don’t fold, just jam pre?

As played, jam flop.

It’s unclear how many people are still in the hand on the flop. Did one or two players call your 3-bet?

Also, how much money do you have left and how big is the pot?

That’s a typo in his post, at least based on the other information he provides. Effective stack is $1k and both players call his 3bet pre.

Ah **** yea I meant to say I make it 200 and they both call.

Pot size on flop is 600, they have 800 behind.

Got it.

Never folding, so just time to decide the best way to lose (if we are beat). Bet 400/call a jam seems fine, though, in this specific setup, sizing down a bit might be better. I would CRAI to get some value from pure bluffs/price KT into a crying call, but then you’re taking a risk that it checks through and the Turn makes you vomit (6, 8, T, etc).

Open-jamming seems like the worst option—you might be letting some hands off the hook (though in a game like this it wouldn’t surprise me to see KT call an overbet jam every once in a while.)

your desc of the 2 of them is they don't like to fold, doesn't say they are aggro so why chance going for a c/r and letting it check thru.

play to thier weakness IE: they hate to fold and call light , soooo ALL-IN

Results:

I bet 400, UTG does the speech tank, saying nonsense and drivel for about a minute. He shoves, cold caller insta folds and I shrug and call.

I table my hand because I find it annoying when people don’t when everyone is AI. He says “you’re ahead”.

Turn is a 2, river is a J, he flips over 88 for the rivered straight and MHING.

He leaves almost broke 2 hours later, sadly very little of it was lost back to me.

It was played fine although I would of probably jammed the flop in this type of game but I would also wait to see if he's gonna table his hand, since it's a big hand after he raised UTG and flatted a big 3bet pre, you only have one pair so there's plenty of merit to letting him table first anyway.
