I don't like 4-betting a loose-passive with QQ. And I don't think folding is an option either. I'd just call and try to come up with the best line that will let you figure out if 3-better has AA or KK.
More I've thought about it, seems crazy to just fold here, but I don't think a fold is so so horrible. It's close. If you've been playing with this guy for 3 or 4 hours and this is the first time he's 3bet, then yeah, probably just fold.
I like calling here...set mining is probably close to break even and we are likely taking this flop 3way, not to mention villain could have ak which is a large portion of his range...u kind of need some idea of villains cbet frequency and tendencies to know how to proceed post flop but I think calling here is good.
Calling - your range is narrow and doesn't include AA typically. I think this is too passive to be a good play in the long run. I don't know....
4-bet - oop the rest of the way. You said he was passive, so maybe you take it down here. Not a great spot. Depends on your image as well. If he is only giving you the nuts, maybe it works. A little expensive to find out, especially on later streets.
Folding - QQ, really, sucks, but if you only give him the same hand or better, what can you do? Need more info to consider if he would 3 bet with worse hands than yours.
You're in a bad situation regardless but unless u have enough info that hes doing this with qq+ only you have to 4 bet.
A call here is a passive move that just puts you in a worse spot when the flop comes all unders. What do you do? Check raise? Check call? BEtter off finding out where you stand right here, right now. And if an Ace or a King fall on the flop are we check folding? Since when did QQ become a set miner.
