So I just sat down 1 orbit ago. Only relevant reads on the players involved are as followed. Older guy hadn't played a hand yet in the 7 or so hands I was there. Young indian guy jammed over a front door flush coming in when a player bet $60 on the river and the indian guy had a set, I felt he was a tad loose.

I'm sitting with $500 and Indian guy sitting with maybe $400.

Older V1 opens to 15 from first position. I have black QQ and for some stupid reason I decide to call and not reraise. No idea what I was thinking except that I was coming from playing PLO. Immediately regretted my decision. Indian guy in the big blind reraises to $35. We both Call

Flop is 3/4/9 all spades. Indian guy bets $45, Older villian folds. I call

Turn is an offsuit 5. Indian guy bets $125. How are you proceeding. Do you call and evaluate? Reraise flop or turn? Fold? I'll detail what happened after

just call the turn. you want to keep in weaker hands.

you should have 3 bet preflop. now that you didnt 3bet preflop unless you have a good read that this tiny backraise is only AA or KK you should 4 bet preflop. i dont lend much credence to tiny backraises so as a default i would 4b pre.

flop is good. ps if the flop got checked you i would check it back or bet small.

This. Regretting not 3b’ing pf and then not taking advantage of the betting being reopened by a young Indian guy I think is a sizable mistake.

Yeah but as played, you're calling the turn?

what does your hand look like to villain? run it through your head. and after you consider that, consider the range of hands villain would bet the turn with. i think youll find it includes hands you beat.

if you ran into a flush, KK, or AA, its a cooler and you're being results-oriented.

You clearly didn't immediately regret your decision not to 3bet otherwise you would have backraised which is almost as equally obvious a correct move.

With a spade don't fold at any point. If this guy is value betting TT no spade and you're folding QQ with a spade it a catastrophe.

Ditto the 3bet both times. Now just call turn and evaluate.

Sadly, I wish I had been at the table longer to see this guy do some ridic. stuff, but such a small sample size I folded like a wuss and a nit. The guy flipped over 5/2 of diamonds for a pair and open ender

Never raising. Always calling without a read. With a read i could find folds but the guy would have to approach omc levels
