2/3 - played about 1 hr with this particular V. He has played lag and seems somewhat capable. Hero has been playing lag this session but no notable showdowns. V has $300, hero covers

Pre: V in MP raises to 15, HJ calls, Hero OTB 3bets to $45 with QQ. Folds to Villain who calls, HJ folds

Flop ($110): 8c9d3s
Villain checks, Hero bets $55, Villain calls

Turn ($210): 8c 9d 3s 8d
Villain shoves for $200, Hero??

You might not win. But I’ve been wanting to post that meme since my Vegas trip.

So his line doesnt make much sense. He raised pre, ok so he could have premiums but he didnt 4bet, so there goes all his premiums. He flops wet and takes a passive line, then jams on a card that he's trying to rep improved him. But if an 8 improves him wtf is his preflop raising range? And if his opening range includes an 8 then it would have to be like 78s or A8s? Because 98/88/99 arent just gonna x/c on a flop like this. I sigh call it off and put him on something stupid like JTdd, a lot of fish just spaz out when they gain even the slightest bit of equity and look for any opportunity to get it in with a draw.

Lol to bolded.

The rest is +1000. That board totally whiffs his "call a 3!" range that would actually open shove the turn. I was thinking maybe AK or AQ only (although I am not sure if we already hold the Q).
