2/5 game. Straddle usually on. Button is a winning reg. I play once every few weeks. Button probably views me as nitty, we don't have much history.

Hero has $2500 and Button covers.

Utg straddle is a calling station.

Utg straddles $10. Folds to Button who makes it $25. Smaller than his usual size.

Hero makes it $120 out of SB with QQ utg calls. Button calls

Flop is
345 pot is $360

Hero bets $180. Utg folds. Button makes it $750 after thinking for some time.

Fold. He has all combos of sets, 54s, 76s and maybe A2s here. Very unlikely he just raises a worse over pair. Sometimes it might be 66 or 65 as a semi bluff but you're behind many combos and I'm not looking to pile in money with one pair this deep.

You should also check this flop especially against a good player.

I bet mainly because of the calling station being there on the flop

I'd let it go. The small size can be a tell for a weaker hand (the kind that would hit this flop) or it can be a tell for people who want a call. Fold and tell them that it was a good bluff or a stupid bet. Mostly likely, they'll show bluff and feel dumb for showing their hand early. Getting in people's heads has a positive net expected value.

I would check this flop with my entire range OOP to two other players.

As played, a trivial fold.

3B larger pre. Make it $150 (6x).

Check flop OOP on this board that doesn't hit our range. Check-raise if anyone bets small. Just check-call if anyone bets 1/2 pot or more.

AP, it's a jam or fold spot, and I think we should mostly be folding, absent any reads that BTN is capable of getting way out of line in spots like this.

Check flop. This is a dripping wet board. It hits our range sort of in that we usually have an overpair or an ace with good overs and a straight draw. However, we rarely have more than one pair.

You shouldn't play this deep if you are making mistakes like this. Just switch tables or play a lower game for a while so you can come back and buy in for 100bb

When you are 500bb deep - or in this case 250bb deep because of the straddle, you gotta be really careful with over pairs OOP.

This flop rarely hits your 3b range, so any set, 2 pair or pair+draw is gonna put you in a lot of trouble.

If you are going to bet, you need to go with a really small size - 1/3rd or less, but ideally just check with every thing you would 3b with on this board, even if you some how have A2s or 67s and got to this spot, you would want to check because those hands should not be in your 3b range.

Easy fold as played, but had you of checked, you will still be in a tough spot if he bets big. Sometimes you just get a poor flop in 3b pots and can't do much in multiway spots.
