Hi,

We are playing 1/2, 8 handed. I am on UTG with QQ open to 10. CO calls, bb calls. Effective stak 200bb. CO seems pretty good, bb is fishy.

Flop comes:
JT7
Pot is 7, I bet 4

CO calls, btn folds.

Turn comes 4

Pot is 15.
What do you do now? Do you continue in aggression or do you check?
I bet 9, he calls.

River is 6

I check, he checks back.

What is your play here? Do you play it differently?

I probably try to make sure that when I limp QQ UTG, I change the respective pot and bet sizes in the summary that I post in a forum, and don't just change my preflop action so people won't call me out for being a donk. Also going to assume that when you said the button folded the flop, you meant the big blind who had checked to you?

AP, pretty sure continuing the turn is standard, can't automatically range villain to 2 pair+ from a flop call and you want to charge them for their draws.

Did you limp QQ or raise to 10? Pot size doesn't make sense with pre flop action.

LOL

I wouldn't go for l/rr with QQ unless trapping an absolute maniac who was bound to raise over my limp.

If I did limp this hand, not get raised and see this flop 3-way I'd bet pot or slightly overbet on flop and 2/3rd pot on turn attempting to get value from weaker pairs, straight draws and flush draws. I'd not bet the river with a 4th flush card as villain will really struggle to call with the hands he's losing with having forked his range away from strong TX by limping behind preflop.

If I'd raised preflop I'd expect fewer flop calls from weak pairs and straight draws given my perceived strength in combination with the scary 3-flush. Therefore I'd bet flop and turn but for half pot. I'd still be reluctant to bet the river unless I was confident from physical reads that villain was not now sitting on a big flush. However, because I've raised pre this time I'm more likely to be read for the nut flush. Therefore a half pot to 2/3rd pot river bet could get folds from weak pairs that backed into weak flushes on the river while also getting calls from strong TX with no flush trying to pick off our river bluffs.
