6 handed 1/2 game that usually plays fairly deep - not many stacks under 250BB and some considerably larger. I'm currently at 250BB (500) myself and the villian covers.
Some information about the villian: middle aged man that seemed be overly aggressive. 3 bet my opens IP a lot. A few orbits ago I 4 bet bluffed him as a response to his constant 3 bets with a weak suited ace - I showed this down so he is aware that I am capable of not having the goods (hopefully to get people to call my 4 bets more frequently)

Hand:
I am dealt QhQd in the BB. The villian is EP2 (or utg+2) and opens to 10 and the button calls (only short stack at table 50BB). I 3bet to 65 (I usually use a slightly smaller sizing but my 3bets get called fairly often at this table and by this player so I don't mind inflating the pot with a premium. Villian calls - and shortstack folds.
Flop is Jc2d4d.(pot: 141)
I cbet for 80. I might downbet with AA/KK but I think I should definitely be betting big here against someone who might call down light and might possibly stack off with AJ etc. Is there a case for a check here? Let him think I've got AK/AQ etc?
In any case he calls.
At this point I put him on AJs, AJo, KJs, JJ, TT, 99 and maybe has AK/AQs or even AKo with diamond blocker.
The turn is an off suit Kc (pot: 301)
I check for pot control and I don't think he's calling a bet with worse here. Better give him room to bluff me off QQ, AJ etc.
He puts out a 1/3 pot sized bet of 130. I call.
River is a Qs. Pot: 460.
Flush draw bricks and I believe I have the best hand now. He might have some QTs and ATs but I think I'd be missing too much value against JJ and two pair combos so I jam out of flow. I think I can be repping all the flush draws that are too weak to showdown including AdJd etc and some odd one pair spews with AA etc. Though I do think check/call is probably best against most players, I think this player will pay me off light because of his sticky nature.
(Jam was only about 250 so he is getting fairly decent odds to call)
What do you think about this line?
Should I be folding the turn? Should I bet check/calling or check/raising the river? Maybe my line and sizing is fine? Please do let me know. (I will post the result of this hand later)

(This is my first time posting so I would appreciate any advice including mistakes I've made/details I've left out on the post.)

Many thanks

jamming because you’re afraid of losing value vs JJJ & 2p’s is obv terrible logic as he should be gii himself regardless

checking otr vs most as played. betting smallish has merit too if he’s too passive post to bet TP & missed fd’s

This had seems pretty well played imo.

3-bet size is big like you said, but if it's getting called too wide, then you should use it.

For the same reason you might downbet AA/KK, if you do want to GTO style protect your checking range on the flop, do it with those stronger hands. AJ makes a better check as well, since there are fewer bad turns for it. Betting flop is fine. You can still bet smaller if you want, but in general I'd bet the amount I think he is calling with most of his worse hands that are going to call a bet. One reason to bet small is that it can induce some aggressive players to raise, thinking you missed this flop.

Turn check is pretty standard. You can bet/fold vs. stations here, but against better or aggressive players, I'd check. I'm not folding QQ to a 1/3 pot bet.

River shove is fine depending on opponent type. Against most low stakes villains I'd take this line since they don't bluff much on the river, and don't make many hero folds. If this guy really is over-aggressive and bluffy, you'll want to check/call him down with most of your value hands. If he has a very strong hand the money is going in no matter what. The challenge is to figure out if he has more hands he is going to bluff with, vs. hands he would call your shove with, but would check behind if checked to.
