Alright so at im playing 1/2 at the casino and so far im up a couple hundred.

Hero: very young asian in very early twenties I've been at the table for almost an hour and have being playing very loose and aggressive, raising a lot preflop, typically in late position. Making big bets for thin value and getting called by weaker hands. Most people at the table probably thought I was a maniac.

Villain: old asian guy, have been playing pretty tight from what I've seen. Havent seen him play many hands.

Stacks:
Hero: (CO) $700
hijack: $200
Villain: (BB) $500

Preflop: folds to the hijack seat and he calls. Hero has QJ and makes it $15 to go(its the normal preflop raise at this table, people almost never give me credit for a hand at this table). Folds to villain in BB and he calls 15. Hijack also calls 15.

Flop($46): QQ8
Villain checks. Hijack checks. Hero bets 25. Villain raises to 50. Hijack folds. Hero makes it 125. Villain goes all in. Hero???

Based on your read, I think he has KQ/AQ and 88 way more than he ever has Q9 or QT. I'm not even considering JTc, 9Tc, or AKc without a better read than what you've given.

Puke and fold

You can't fold your hand to a min raise. But you shouldn't raise back unless you're planning on getting stacks in by the river. You're too deep and your hand is too vulnerable to commit.

plan better your hand next time, dont 3bet that flop if youre gonna fold to a push.
And as played, vs a tight villain, looks like a fold. He has not many Qx in his range to make the call profitable.

I was definitely trying to get stacks in. So I 3bet the flop in order to get stacks in. People do some weird things at this table against me because of my image. I wouldnt be surprised if the guy had like pocket 10s or 9s and just thinks I have air.

If you think villain is putting 250bb in with TT on this board then you played it well

But in general, I think you should be betting more OTF for value and flatting his min raise. Unless you think he can c/r a draw or have weaker Qx in his range. Then, I think you should 3b/f

I definitely think he can have a weaker queen, but I dont have very much info on him anyway, so I should probably fold. I ended up calling though.

Bet bigger on flop. 35-40. I don't want to 3bet flop this deep against described Villain. We are almost always beat here against this V when he 4bet shoves flop. He is not playing back at us. I don't want to fold this with our image. Call flop eval turn. As played probably a puke fold.

Can you buy-in for $500 in this game? You said you were up a couple hundred and you're sitting on $700.

3-betting preflop, even if V only calls that, almost guarantees only better hands continue.

The max buy in at this game is 300. I bought in twice so that is how i am up a couple hundred.

@eldiesel
I didnt 3bet preflop. I just raised to 15.

But anyway, i called the 4bet shove on the flop because im a bad player and he did in fact have AQ. The turn is a 4. River is a JACK! And i scoop the thousand dollar pot. Woohoo! I honestly thought my hand was unfoldable given my image. I was wrong. Thanks for everyones responses.

id flat his minraise and keep his weaker hands/bluffs in.
when you 3bet him otf you fold out his bluffs, mid pairs, and give a red flag to villains with weak Qs even though they probably wont fold anyways.

i dont hate the 3bet though with your image i understand how your trying to use your maniac image to get frustration calls/hero calls but once he 4bets you villains always have close to the nuts if not always the nuts in this spot.
id fold and it sucks but you got to fold.
cant say i havent made this same bad call though! trying to convince myself his could have any Qx suited and leveling myself into justifications on why you gotta call.

nice to hit the 3 outer sometimes instead of it being hit on you lol nice bink

fold next time
