Plot Twist Plot Twist

sat down for the first time ever in a UK 1/2 £ cashgame (I play in Belgium and Netherlands). The game was very passive and incredibly soft, in 6 hours I have seen 2 players that knew remotely what they were doing, which equals the number of players that are quite new to the game.

We arrived at a stage in the game where we were barely even seeing preflop raises, let alone reraises, from what I was concerned, all but 1 player had huge leaks, table average was betting equals picking up the pot unless hit. I was playing 50-60 % of the hands for around 3 orbits and was printing money finding easy folds, bluffs and value bets all over the place. if someone was check-raising, it basically meant I have you beat, and most players respected that. I am not used to seeing this many players with large leaks, but I liked it.

For this very reason, from the HJ, I decide to overlimp 64o the UTG + 2 player, which was quite on tilt and commonly did not believe my bets.
SB fills in the BB, and BB checks.

flop is 57K rainbow for a double gutshot. Me, having limped in, think a K is well in my range and decide to bet 5 £ in the 8 £ pot. SB folds, BB calls and UTG +2 calls.
- BB is Will (as he announed himself), one of the two better players. I put him on a par of some kind or a straight draw close to mine.
- UTG + 2 is my non-believer. My experience thaught me that his call will probably be just ANY float. He didn't care and was after me. His preflop limp however, was the only thing that made me put him on a range. He was betting his good hands, and was not playing utter junk. Therefore his range were a huge amount of missed middle holdings, but he could as easily have a weaker K, however not too many 7's or 5's in his range unless A7s A5s.
All in all those 2 calls were not good for me as it did contain some top pairs I would not be able to bluff out, I was ready to check to see what they do and if that would teach me something.

Turn comes K. Now that's a gamechanger. I check with the intention of seeing what develops and depolarizing BB's range into really strong or small pair.
- BB insta-checks, I pretty much rule out any K, which puts his range on a 7, a 5, draw or other smaller pocket pair.
- UTG+2 bets 15 £ into the 23 £ pot. This was a given that he would bet, but I pretty much ruled out strong kings already, and now a K is even less likely which leaves lots of mediocre and even more missed hands.
Since check-raises are well respected in this establishment, I decide to go take this route, as I believe it will chase out the BB's weak range with a player left to act, and the UTG+2 having very little strong hands. Myself, I'm still on a double gutshot if all else fails (I would not take this line with any hand, this would actually require my to have a balanced range between strong hands or some form of draw/combodraw), so I make it 55 (40 more). In my head this is a very strong play well in line with my range (even though I had switched up to be very loose it still stays within my range).

Plot Twist : BB goes well in the tank for about 4 minutes. I take him for the thinking player he is, He might just look me up with his weaker pair. After a long sweat he lets go, and UTG+2 insta-mucks as the thief he is (yes I realise I was stealing myself ).
The BB then tells that he mucked KJ (which I believe he did), because he was afraid of my value bets which I had already shown multiple times. In my opinion I could not have a lot of better kings - AK and KQ I would've surely raised before the flop, which leaves K7 and K5. Or 77 and 55 for a boat. Those are not a lot of hands to fear, and after that call he had maybe 150 behind. Afterwards he got me thinking he was right I would not have taken this line with many other hands.

I was shocked he made that fold.

Now I have been wondering. Was my assessment of the situation right, and were people too soft to respond to a check-raise bluff which just added their chips to my stack?
Or did Will have a good read on my hand range, and was my bluf better than I took it for.
I have been in question about this.

Now I realize I should never play 64o, and normally never do, but hey, I was not about to walk away from the opportunities that were being presented at the table - and went far out of line to follow my instinct.

Welcome, OP. In future hands, please use the format in the stickies, and don't include results, as they bias people's advice. I don't know how much response you'll get to this and how valuable it will be.

Generally, trying to bluff someone you've already read as not believing your best is not a good idea.

I obviously made an error in my position. This had could not have occured while in HJ, but only in the blinds.
must have been tired. Just delete the post please.
I will post more along the lines of what I'm reading.
Thanks.

There's something interesting here, and I look forward to more of your posts. Sorry this one was a little hard to get a handle on, and with the results I couldn't give an unbiased response.

I'll just lock it up. Feel free to repost in easier to read format and no results whenever you're up to it. If I see the hand again, I'll delete this one so folks don't see results, but I don't want to delete and make your notes go poof.
