2-5 NL Holdem, early in the game.
I am not involved in this hand, just observing Hero-friend.
Hero - TAG, 500 in front. He's new to the room and people don't know how he plays. UTG
V1, Middle aged Asian player. 500 in front. No knowledge about his play. UTG+1
V2, Elderly Asian Player, wearing glasses. 1000 in front. Looks like retired engineer or something. We have already seem him take down a large pot with pocket Aces. Mid position.
OTTH
Hero raises to $15. V1 calls. v2 re-raises to 75. everyone else folds.
($112)

Fold
Wait till you get a good feel for 3bettors ranging (play longer with him) before continuing in this spot.

$15 is smaller then typical for 2/5 and an UTG raise to $15 may have induced a bluff raise. You can't know that yet though, you don't have enough history on villain. You have a hand that is hard to play even when you hit the flop and your OOP. I would just fold this.

Ok thank you all. I suspected folding was correct.
But let's say hero calls. V1 calls too.
($232)
Hero has AJs, with spades as the suit.
Flop comes Jh-5s-3s, giving hero top pair and nut flush draw.

Probably Check/Shove.

In a vacuum this is a call pre. But in real world where 3b ranges are tight, fold pre due to age-based stereotype.
Check-jam is fine. We can have pocket jacks. Jxss works well as a bluff. This is presumably the only combos of Jxss we have given preflop (assuming we fold pre KJs- as we should).

X/c flop. x/jam serves little purpose except folding out hands that have 1-3 outs, or best case KQ.
