I have no memory or reason to believe I was at all like this before poker

since becoming a mega multitabling (and now just multibling) reg I have become well known within my circle of non poker friends and family for having the ability (affliction?) to put effectively black out from any irl convo, often unannounced, usually when i'm doing something on my phone or computer

Oh so much this. It's kind of embarrassing how much of a prick I can come across as sometimes especially meeting new people because i tune out in convos.
