fold and find better spot to value her

Ok, here's another version of my thought on this hand:

My take is actually quite straight forward.

I believe that she will ONLY 3-bet with Kx, but she will call the raise with rest of her range that has SD equity.

The reason why I believe that she will call the raise is because she's strictly level 0, and that she has no clue on the strength of her hand relative to her opponent's.

So I believe that if she thinks her hand has SD equity, and basically that encompasses any PP, any part of the board, and even draws all the way until river, she will flat the min-raise.

Furthermore, most players do not bet into a flop raiser unless the hand improves, even for someone as bad as this player. So the min-raise on the flop also sets the price for turn, and that's a good thing if we don't know how much she will bet on the turn.

So basically I am doing a multi-purpose min-raise, not really a value or range narrowing information raise. I fully believe that against this particular player, a min-raise will not fold out any hand that she will continue to bet with, but it will reveal whether she has Kx.

Finally, if my assumption is correct, we are now in charge of valuing the hand rather than leaving it up to her.

Example:

She could have barreled:

$30/$60/$100

It could be very expensive if we decide to call down with a medium pocket pair.

But if we min-raise the flop and eliminate Kx, we might even go:

$60/$80/AI

Then we're definitely not losing any value.

How do you know she just won't call a raise with KJ, and be happy to call you down?

It's the same as asking how you know she will fold to a raise with hands we can beat.

I never asked that...but you scenario assumes she will always reraise when she has a king. My experience is that these kind of players will not re-raise anything thing but AK or a flopped boat in this spot. So now you're still playing blind into the turn which is an obvious check behind (assuming she'll check to you).

Yeah, I'm now leaning towards call on the flop, although raising certainly has its merits.
