Hi all,

2/5. Hero should have tight image. Playing $1k effective. V1 is Argentinian pro. He normally opens to $20 but sizes down to $15 sometimes. I think this is a sizing tell. Last time he opened to $15 UTG and hero 3! to $45 UTG+2 with AQo and he folded. V2 is loose Persian rec who once commented that hero only plays AA and KK.

V1 opens in HJ to $15, V2 calls CO. Hero BTN KsJd...?

KJo doesn't seem good enough to flat, so I guess we play this as a 3bet/fold in general. Since its PAHWM, and given the other factors you mentioned, I guess we make it $65-70 to go.

I'm guessing if you make it $75 (my preferred 3! sizing) that may be the end of the PAHWM

I'd still just flat here and see what happens on the flop. If you hit he board and V1 checks, there's some nice value to be had from a loose V2 playing worse Jx and Kx. don't see any reason to fold against the LP action.

Probably 75-80. Don't mind a call though for this price otb. But if you think you have a sizing tell, then go for it, I guess.

I’m starting to come around on all this ‘3bet or fold’ talk, but in my particular game I like a call here. It’s cheap. You’re not soooted. No need to click buttons and get into a huge pot with a reg/pro with this hand until it makes sense.

Fold or 3bet. Normally I would just fold but if you want to attack his small pfr you can here; that fact that you're raising the cut off should give you more credit so if either continue they should be very strong.

BTW, I'm not an Argentinian pro but I vary my pfr's sizes too and once in a while size down w pA's to give myself a touch of balance. It paid off recently.

I'm surprised at the sizes being suggested; I'd make it 60.

I'd be cbetting 100% of the time regardless of flop or number of callers unless I hit hard. Because the board is a bit drawy, which is unfortunate because otherwise a very small cbet would get more respect, I would have to go 70+ but I don't play in a game with those small cbets that are the rage now.

If down betting is pretty common in your game I would do that and make it 50 or so.

If he calls I'm pretty done with the hand but will be looking for physical behaviors to try to find a tell. If he raises he can have it with his combo draw or monster.

Villain verbally puts you on AA/KK so mentally he also includes AK. Just bet 50% on a board that completely smashes your range then pump the brakes if called.

I don’t like b/x because you open yourself up to a river bluff. Either x and call down or b/b small. I prefer two small bets and then x back river.

cbet 50% then bomb turn to fold out weak Ax. I’d expect it to work with a very high frequency given history.

the spot you’re in now is just odd. you’re repping QQ and V may have complete air and be attempting to push you off it with a reasonable line. calling is actually viable as a bluff catch. raising to 255 is also viable but you’re going to be looked up a bit. shoving is not much of a plan at this stack depth 1k effective

Perhaps I’m being overzealous but he should have zero calls facing a shove.

Actually nah, it’s too deep and I didn’t follow action right last night. Hero checked flop and there was a FD - we only can rep KK that played this slow somehow. Calling is bad. Shoving is bad (glad you questioned it). Folding is the play. I mean, the hand is played pretty poorly from a range perspective, but ck flop call turn fold river against some pro probably is the nut money saving line.
