Live 1/2
Hand: KK
Position: CO
Stack: 425$
Villain: (Covers, UTG) Weak loose pre/tight post-flop player, I don’t think he bluffs too much, but pretty much unknown, I never saw him before that session (about 20yo).

Preflop Action: V limps, MP bets 5$, MP2 calls, HJ calls, I raise to 20$ (too small I know), 3 calls (only OR folds). (85$)
Flop: T62r
Action: Checked around, I 30$ (again too small, I should bet around 40-50$), V calls, rest folds. (145$)
Turn: 7c (2nd club)
Action: V bets 50$, I?

What would you do here? Thing is that I didn't have enough info on the guy yet... We could make a case for folding, calling and raising here.

Never folding. Call and evaluate river. I'd plan to call most rivers. You shouldn't open the action again on the turn with stacks that deep. You'd have a tough decision if you raise and villain 3bets.

And yes, too small pre and flop.

I don't mind the preflop raise size. If $20.00 won't thin the field, well, off we go as $30.00 may not thin the field any more than $20.00. Sometime that is a good thing.

Flop bet, there is potential for two straights showing up on the turn, bet is too small.

I see Villains turn bet as too small also. Villain is either thinking your hand is vapor or weak as in X,2. Good time for a c/r imo. The river then should pretty much play itself.

Raise/Fold. Raise to $120.

I like the raise/fold here especially with the emerging FD and SD's. Also just calling could put me in another tough spot OTR... I agree with never folding.

On turn you are either way ahead or way behind - by raise folding you get worse to fold and better to call... will lead to a difficult river spot anyways. On the turn I call and reevaluate river. Also pre is okay, but bet bigger on flop.

Your flop bet is so small you look either very strong/very weak to villain.

$30 Pre and about $80-90 on the flop is about right.

As Played, villain's $50 into a $145 pot on the turn looks exactly like your flop bet. WA/WB. Calling is so bad, this is either a fold or shove based on your read.
