Thoughts on the overbetting?
Why you want to commit 20% of effective stacks with air on the flop?
On the turn you just got lucky but that's not the point. The point is on the flop when your continuation bet was too big. A smaller bet will accomplish just the same and it would have keep the pot small so that you can fold if villains comes over the top. Now if your dude raises you on the flop what are you going to do? If he raises on the flop no matter what you do it will be wrong. If you call it's wrong and if you fold it's wrong too because you are already 20% in. If you constantly invest 20% and than fold you are not getting nowhere in this game. or the opposite is valid too. If you invest 20% and get raised and either call or re-raise with AIR you will go down pardner. Sometimes going with air works but most of the time you are just losing. But if you play for fun I guess is OK because you always have your regular job to supply the money for the next time you come to the poker club and play some cards. : lol, lol, lol...
