Quick question
Quick answer ( hopefully)

At a 1/2$ table ( just sat down so no idea on the flow on the table )
Would you open K Q off ??? From utg 9 handed

Raise/fold. New tables tend to play very tight. You also have the oppy to establish an agg image.

Yes.

Spoiler:
No.

If I am playing well, I would not

I have to say that if you are asking this question, the best thing would be to fold.

UTG 9 handed I'm generally only opening QQ's + AK, and sometimes AQ. KQ is close but I'm defibitely folding if it's first hand. We want to establish a decent TAG image imo. I'm only opening KQ from UTG if I know I can run over the table.

So just to be clear you are opening KQ off but you aren't opening 99 10s or JJ? Also folding with no reads is likely best, also if you are unsure how to play KQ oop.

I fold. Playing KQo UTG [9 handed], with no reads on the players, is one of the many situations in which I need lessons.

That advice pretty much goes for any hand in any position.

As such, I'm locking this before the thread is trolled.
