Later that night: Wichita and Anger lament about their recent sports betting woes. Wichita falling victim to the member they call "the beast from the east:" GAFFON. Gaffon has duped Wichita into thinking they have a friendly, neutral EV betting agreement on soccer matches. But alas, Gaffon has been deceiving Wichita all along, knowing that soccer overs are the sharp side in the long run, and suspiciously going missing on days when unders are likely to be good, leaving Wichita with no partner for the matches.
The exchanging of bad beat stories continues late into the night, and early the next morning Gaffon tries to convince Wichita the run he is on isn't all bad by breaking down the math. Meanwhile, a beloved thread member, luckybacon13 (formerly luckybacon) continues to hoodwink the thread inferring that he is not the biggest winner. The thread knows he truly is, but they continue to be fooled by luckybacon's charm and go on booking his bets. The thread has believed for ages now that the run must come to an end soon, but the pig continues to count his fortunes in a Scrooge McDuck-esque fashion.

Best summary posted itt yet. There isn't a piece of this that isn't true.
I still remember how irritated I was last Thursday when I had Georgia Southern/App State under 47.5 (an awful number considering 48's were available pretty much everywhere until an hour before kickoff), and App State, down 27, performed a 2 minute drill and called a timeout with 14 seconds left to ensure they got an extra play in the redzone. Of course they scored, and the final was 34-14, with me losing by a hook for $500. All of that would have been forgotten in 3 minutes if the bet wasn't booked with Steve.
