I absolutely love the Poker Pro tables. They have failed anytime they've gone head to head with regular tables. Where I play, it's all that's offered (some weird state law, I think). You get the same bad players that a regular casino gets.

Max buy in is 300 and it gets pretty deep on the weekends.

I'm certain that I can make more off the Poker Pro tables. I'm trying to figure out if playing 1/2 @43 hands/hr with no dealer to tip would be better than playing 2/5 at a regular table. My travel expense is slightly less to the E-tables as well.

Not to mention the hrs I've played heads up or 3 way without them taking a rake while getting a table started.

Imo, dude wasnt given a trial for his assualt charge, and the judge certainly isnt a fair person to be handing out such a charge given that said judge has to be somewhat emotionally involved with the criminals case (prolly irritated that it took so long, or maybe he thinks guy is a scumbag, which is also a bias)

Basically, get this man a new trial. And I realize it costs more to have a new trial, but thats why everyone pays taxes

The judge gave him the max because the judge saw for himself that the dude was an animal who couldn't even control himself in a courtroom, let alone out on the streets and in the bars of the county.

I feel like once the prosecution rests and once the defense rests then the trial should be over, especially after the judge makes his sentence.

There wasn't a trial, not that it matters. He plead guilty in exchange for my agreement to recommend no more than 8 years. The judge had told him three minutes before that my recommendation wasn't binding and he could get anything up to 20 years.

I am all for sticking it to the man but I don't see how you can defend somebody who starts swinging at his sentencing and gets the book thrown at him

I just view things very black and white.

There are the rules and thats what should be followed.

If the rules are unfair or go against other more important rules, then they should be struck down.

But my basic argument for that guy is that IF a crime is to be judged, and solely judged based on ones actions in said crime,

THEN

the mans conduct after the crime should not affect his judgement whatsoever.

I also dont think u should be allowed to see the defendant while in a courtroom, but hey, what do I know
