Do you mean a 23% range? Because it's about a 46% range.

I guess you'd be playing a 23% range if you played any black suited or any red suited.

No, I wouldn't speak about something if it was wrong. Go into pokerstove click preflop, then click the any suited, its 23.5%.

I guess I wasn't the only one who didn't know, lmao.

Don't have pokerstove at work. 23% of what? 23 percent equity? Against what?

There is a huge difference between PF pushbot percentages and the playability of the hand post flop

23% of all possible starting hands. Meaning if you only played ATS your VPIP would be 23%.

How hard is it to play postflop vs clueless noobs? Not that hard if you ask me. The aggression percentage for low stakes is like 30% and that's only because they hit a hand 30% of the time.

Anything fun to chat about?

Total brain fart on my end, I was jumbling the combinations and the probabilities.

Poor guy is 200bigs deep playing 20% getting owned buy guys playing 38% and higher.
04-13-2012 , 04:19 PM
Laak has been sitting with over 1700bigs for 2 days now. He is now over 2000bigs. I though forsure someone would dent it up.

Ful ring no problem, 6 handed no problem, 4 handed no problem, 3 handed no problem. Hu no problem.

Sick heater!

In my case it was a curious and open mind, and the ability to get beyond childhood indoctrination.

Only one in 12 ever leave the faith of their parents. Most are just repeating what they've heard since they were toddlers, and are convinced that it's some universal truth.

The same analogy could probably be used for poker.

Question for Pokah: This new guy Josef Cibicek just sat down. What's worse, the wide V-neck or the girl-tied scarf worn indoors?

I think he is pretty stylish. The wide v neck can only be pulled off by male models, like PA.

In the poker world we call that huge spot. A mark is a beeetch. But in actuality what you said means the same thing. I

Also, there was a good article posted in the mod forum a while back talking about the best ways to kill off a forum. Having discussions about religion is at the top of the list. If you want to have a never ending religious argument, please take it to the religion containment forum below.

The poker gods have informed me that people speaking about or denying the existence of gods in this forum will have you face this kind of punishment from me or one of my assistants.

I think Phil Laak as for one of the younger players of the game is an excellent role model. By no means does he think he's the best player in the game and he never represents that he's a great player. But he entertains people. People like playing at his table. My guess is that he and Antonio get far more invitations to play in private games with big money and big fish than durrrr or Ivey. At the end of the night, the fish may have lost money, but they would leave feeling they got their money's worth.

The moral is that you don't have to the best player in the world. You only have to be the best player at your table.
