Come this weekend I will go on break for a little while. I am sure in that time PB will pass my post count in the Chat Thread, however I will still be the king of this thread. I have a pretty good study guide that I am going to follow. Going to hit that hard and hopefully come game day all the ummms and uhhhs are gone.

Chilling on vacation this week. Visiting family, relaxing, etc.. I went to watch my nephews and their t-ball practice last night. Highly entertaining.

Afterwards, I drove 30 minutes up to the local casino. Thought it would be a Tuesday night nitfest. Not so much. A little passive, and at times OMG! bad.

I started off the night card dead, and missing every flop. Dropped a $100 making some raises in position, and calling small raises with PPs/SCs, and never even sniffing a flop. Like ever.
Normally I reload, but decided to short stack for a change. Played JJ like a boss in a 3 way pot, and doubled up back to my original buy in (didn't even get my last part of my stack in - villain bet the river scare card and folded to my lol $25 raise all in). Picked up some pots here and there, and then picked up AA.

Guy to my right has been on a heater. Big PPs, favorable flops, and then betting hard. He has all been aggressive pre, and a bit of a calling station post. He has 500 BBs, and I am sitting on 110BB.
He opens for $10 from MP, which so far has always been JJ+/AQ+ for him. Very few 3 bets at the table, but when he has opened a pot he has never folded to a 3bet, and came over the top once with QQ.

I raise to $30 with my AA, with my logic being that he may try to play back at me, and if not, I have position on him in a $60 pot, and I should be able to get stacks in with pot bets ($60 + shove for remainder).

To my surprise, the short stack of $120 flats the $30...as does a $180 stack...and a $150 stack...and a $145 stack. The pot is $160 back to the original raiser, and I am praying he has KK and shoves. Nope. Just calls.

$180 pot to the flop. I have $190 remaining. Flop is 10-8-2 rainbow. Checks to me. I love and hate the flop. I know the whole table is likely set mining me. No room to bet fold, and I figure if anyone has JJ/QQ they call. If not, I probably can't get any action anyway.
I shove. Entire table snap folds. I kind of hate the shove, but didn't know what else to do. Netted almost $150 on AA, so no complaints. Turns out based on the table talk that two players had 99 and two had 77. Opening raiser had a pair but didn't say what it was.

Finished up well over $200 after a little over 3 hours of play. Would have played longer, but the fish I was gunning for (stack of $800) kept taking long breaks and finally left. Two other decent targets were at the table, but one was up big after a (terrible imo) hero call and starting to get a bit nitty. No other decent money was left, so I booked the win and rolled out. I passed up a high variance spot with one of the fish that would have likely have paid off, and I decided that decision indicated a need for to call it a night.

Well pretty standard session last night.
Play in a tournament/ 40bbb eff stacks get it all in ott with QT on QQ77 board guy has 79 river 7 obv.
Next orbit all in PF 20bb with AK v JT flop AKx turn x river Q.

Sit down at cash table 150bb buy in. Second hand raise AQ 3 calls flop AQ7 bet one call turn 3 bet one call river 9 bet and he ships lol has 77.
Worst cash game ever though. Whole table was so stationey. Limps to me otb with K7hh flop is 2K7 guy leads 10 4 calls I raise to 90 one caller, ship turn guy calls with KQ haha. I held!
Straddle pot limps to me I raise 20 89 Straddle calls everyone folds.
Flop KJT check I bet 30 guy raises to 60 I call turn is 7 he bets 30 lol I ship he snaps with JT I hold again!
Wound up losing like 170 including tourney.

Well:

1) Hoke loves Michigan more than anything and that gets through to recruits.
2) Mattison, our DC, gets to point at ray lewis and say, I coached that yo.
3) The first few early commits have been recruiting others to join.
