Like I said a highly established 400nl and 600nl and sometimes 1000nl online player said Im a good player. We have become friends away from the table. He is the only guy that can have a conversation with me away from the forums. Sounds like im elite in my eyes.

So very this. Even though I realize that the crazy way they play the game makes for huge variance, I feel like such a loser when I can't even beat these droolers.

Part of why I loved that big hand I won with a TP of 8s was that I was proud of myself for the reads, but most of it was that most of those guys wouldn't look at it as good reads, but of justification of "any two can win!" Almost felt like I was throwing their suckouts back in their faces...

Yea. My overall poker winrate would be a lot higher if I hadn't played a single 1/2 session in the last 3 years. I would guess I'm stuck 4-5k in 1/2 from playing and lighting money on fire while I wait for a seat.

Also fwiw I have broken down and threw like 100 bucks on carbon poker for PLO. I wanna learn and don't want to pay the price live.

Lol, in the games I play in every day. On a board that runs off A784j, I would expect to get raised on the flop by any of the flopped 2 pair combos, as villains would consider their hand vulnerable. I would expect villains with A4 to just call down. So if I river two pair holding AJ, and I get raised, I am almost always going to see a hand better than 2 pair. And given that the straight came in on the turn, I probably would not even face a raise from a set from most players, so a raise on that board would be the straight the vast majority of the time.

This is the way my games play on the river, both at 1/2 and 2/5. Definitely very nut peddler-ish.

My 1/3 and 2/5 are similar for about 40% of my villains. Another 25% *can* be hyper aggro here. The rest...depends on how the mood strikes them.

At any given table, I can usually name 2-3 people that I will never call a river raise from without something damn close to the nuts.
