As in you can't leave your day job until your shift is over at midnight? Or as in you only go to the casino at midnight to play against drunk players? If it's the latter then that's pretty lame imo. If it's the former then bad beat, what kinda work you do?

Yikes, that's rough. Oh well, at least you get to donk it up late at night when the atmosphere is fun at the poker room!

Not clear to me it's lame to pick out the times when drunk players are the main opponents . If you have that option seems like a pretty good idea to me.

funny quote from local know-it-all reg on the difference between a fish and a donkey:
Fish: A player who doesnt know how to play poker properly.
Donkey: A player who knows how how to play poker properly but choses not to.

Meh I suck. I have no problem approaching and talking now, but sometimes I don't think of the right thing to say quickly enough so I end up with a casual "alright see you later" and leave. Have to be more convincing. Learning from my mistakes though.

Air Force destroys Nevada, 48-31. Fun game, but very cold. Now we drink.

Is there any better feeling than making a really really thin hero-call, and seeing the look of disappointment on villain's face?

"You call if I bet $250....????!"

Its really not impressive its lowstakes, the players suck balls at these levels.

Thanks guys. Preflop is very lol

The hot girl straddles, I limp AQs behind two limpers planning to 3bet this one guy who has raised just about every pot. Entire table limps, except the guy I wanted to raise who folds, to the hot girl who raises 17, the slaughtered pig calls, random calls, and I then decide to flat as I think I'll be closing the action, and don't want to 3bet anymore with position on the two fish at the table.

Unfortunately the one guy behind me does tank call, then the SB pops it for 54bbs total. BB calls, hot girl calls, slaughtered pig calls, random calls. Really have no idea what to do here, but end up calling, guy behind me tank calls again. So 6 way to the flop.

Flop: Q27 rainbow SB checks, Hot donks 100 bbs, I jam for 310. Folds to her she, tanks about 10 minutes then calls with q/10o.

Still lost with preflop. Probably should've 3bet as I'd planned, but if I had I lose the hand so not sure. The guy behind me I was expecting to fold to the original raise after he limped ended up having AK.

Impressive, sometimes its better to be lucky than good in certain situations. Been waiting on luck for 4 years now, has not worked out in my favor yet. Still have faith though , nh bgp.

I never said it was impressive, just fun to do to people and be right.
They can never believe you called, even when you tell them why you knew your hand was good.

The hurt it puts on them is fun.

Impressive and no better feeling is in the same boat if you ask me.

Non-poker, but, do casinos recycle?
I know that nowhere locally has recycling bins or anything, I wonder if they somehow sort it?
Because every time I go, I think about all the water bottles and glass, plastic cups, etc

I've always wondered
