Spoiler:

Haven't played in 16 days I think. I sent out two texts asking about open seats with no response. It's about to be 17 I guess.

3 rosters and literally didn't have one player hit the projected figure or better. How is that possible????

I know that this is completely realistic handgun range practice, but I couldn't help laughing at 10-15 feet.

Long distance shooting with a pistol is super tricky, because the short barrel length magnifies misalignment between front and rear sight. Spend a lot of time at home perfecting your sight picture without firing. IMO, it is important to get a perfect sight picture repeatedly, paying attention not so much to what you see, but how your body position feels when you have a perfect sight picture. The muscle memory part of it. Do it a couple thousand times, and your arm's or arms' muscle memory will tell you that your sight picture is a little off.

Back from New Mexico. Drank some good beer, saw 8-million Indian casinos I didn't have time to play at (if they even have poker rooms). Time for some beer and football (handegg to you Euros).

Im buying a Mossberg 590A1 12ga tomorrow. Sight Picture Shmight Picture. I hear ya though. I learned some things today to help me zero in a little better. Trigger control stuff and just some general sight picture things to work on. I needed this class. Maybe in a couple months I will go do a class that goes more deep into pistol shooting.

I have always coveted a browning o/u, tbh. But when I lived in an area with good bird hunting, I didn't really make enough to justify spending the money, and when I made enough that i could have afforded it, I had moved away from the good bird hunting.

I like my remington 870 just fine, though, although I haven't fired it in 10+ years, now that I think about it.

My buddy has a Remington 870 Tactical. That think is awesome. I am going Mossberg to do something different and I really liked the ghost ring sites on it. The only thing I am tryin to decide now is 18.5" or 20".

That's purely a question of what you'll be using it for. Longer distance shooting, longer barrel. Home defense, go shorter, obviously.

The rich kid in my hometown had a Browning BT-99, and he would let me use it when we when trap shooting. You are bringing back some fond memories.
