Yes you are perfectly fine. Echo what they said about the DVD drive, and a backup HD. Prob don't need 8GB RAM either, but it is pretty cheap.

Laptops are slow in general, I spent like 1.5k on two 27" monitors and a computer and it is faster than the 2k laptop I bought like months before it(that laptop broke already). Just in general I think people should get an at-home grinding computer for the desktop, and a nice laptop for traveling as well

haha wow, is there money in that over in korea?

For Starcraft 1, it sold 9 million copies, and 4 million of those from South Korea lol.

if you train like 12 hours a day and live in one of those korean gaming dojos with strict schedules and dietary requirements (for optimal performance), and if you are actually successful and one of the top 5-10 in the world then you might be able to get a 100-200k/yr contract.

yeah he's going to be taking a paycut doing it but i presume he enjoys it a lot more. maybe if he makes it to the highest level he'll be able to make a little more than poker but i'd imagine the cieling is a bit lower.

kiwikaki is the man i wish he still played. his mom is a milf too.

fan?

if you are set on a laptop i would recommend getting the biggest screen size you can, even taking less performance if necessary. biggest i could find was 18.4'' widescreen.

I suspect that there's probably somethign wrong with the software on your PC. The guys who 100-table do not have very powerful computers.

Just an FYI. I purchased a new system about 6 months ago and someone recommend I go through cyberpowerpc.com. At the time their prices were very reasonable and the site was easy to navigate for a computer noob such as myself. Plus they allways have 5% online coupons if you do a search. My sample size is 1, but i've had zero problems with my system since I got it.

Just for reference, mine has an 80GB SSD drive that has Windows 7, a 2-3 million hand database and all my poker related software. With all that it only has about 7-8 GB available space. I have a secondary drive that I store other random crap on. So as others have said, 128GB should be fine if it's for poker only, but I would add another drive if your going to put anything else on it.

I was sweating the session for about an hour or two around the -7k part. It was standard whiff every double draw and worst turn/river in deck syndrome.
08-05-2010 , 02:02 PM
i was telling him to quit at the -17k point.... I didn't see it turning right back around but he is a boss. I said he probably wasnt playing his A game but he assured me that he had ppl sweat him and that he was. ANDREWWW SONGGGG IS BOSS

It was wierd, every time he flopped bottom set, he would just c/f and say "Bro, no one bets that flop without a set"
