400 and 600 SH compared to 400 and 600 FR is way tougher. for example at 600 FR i would play almost all fish who i have pos on, no matter which regs are at the table. at 600 SH there are tables which are def. not +EV for me even though I have good position on a fish...

Haven't been on here in awhile, if anyone wants a HH reviewed from a retired has-been would be happy to help.

First 5 people to PM me a hand will get a detailed analysis. Online NLHE only. One hand per person. If your hand sucks or doesn't include stats/reads on villain I won't reply.

Most interesting hand will be posted here (if you don't want your hand posted let me know).

can't remember how or why i ended up on some site ive never seen before yesterday but i saw a caption with your name saying you were retiring from poker. I skipped through the interview and heard you say you wouldnt comment on who gave you the most trouble because it would put you at a disadvantage vs that opponent but later you said you were retiring

someones not committed imo

either way good luck and enjoy your travels

old habits die hard! wasn't planning on saying I was retiring in the interview as I was fully committed to resuming overseas just a couple months before but I was pretty certain I wanted to head in another direction at that point.

thanks. will need the luck for sure, business world is hyper-competitive these days and having to re-start from scratch definitely sucks but really enjoying the new challenge.

lol. was just bored and was had a brief moment of nostalgia for the dozens of HH I got sent on AIM everyday back in the coaching days, must have sniffed too much glue. well into the PLO boom for sure, if I was going to continue playing I would have shifted most of my chips into that game... happy for Joey's success

A giant step towards making poker better for all. I imagine HU games will actually be reasonable now and players will have to play anyone and actually learn from playing them like you're supposed to instead of tanking for 30seconds before posting to check ur opponent up on PTR... and in FR and 6max, skill will win over bumhunting and clicking the seat faster. This is like real life poker in casinos, which is kinda how it should be...

Only downside is "railing" the pros and following your favorite players. Its a way to keep score and keep "standings", which can be cool from a publicity standpoint. Lower level or aspiring players can really idolize certain big players and dream about being one of the bigshots or on TV someday. Being able to check out High Stakes action every day. Now its back to the dark ages for them as they'll never know what goes on above their stakes...

Best thing is blocking the datamining/purchasing hands. I think this will be great for the games personally.

Hey guys,

Just want to let you all know I'm looking for a WSOP Staker and potentially long term Live MTT Staker if any of you are interested. Bought a house and moved back to the USA recently so I'm forced to be a bit nittier with my BR, but am certainly not broke and can prove assets if any of you guys want. Figured you guys know me best having played against me the last couple years. For those of you who don't know I'm DRluck3 on stars. PM me if theres any interest. Thx.

That gorilla only reg with quads in his range on this action and flop. You bet flop and you can say goodbye to most of stack. If you make big laydown then you have nightmares that gorilla is taking his wide range to rep crazy stuff overboard. Looks like good play.

the best thing would be for all stat-tracking software to be banned.. no PT/HEM/HUD. no more mass-tabling nits. casual 50/8 players get to keep their roll for longer. people actually think for themselves when making a decision instead of relying on opponent stats.
