Bacon, I had us with zero bets this week. Did I miss one?

Yes this is considerably easier- and angles avoided- if you all waited to have numbers revealed until all (or a substantial number) were submitted...

You and others started to post your numbers yesterday as a “well mine are sent, and I’d like to start swapping.” Which is fine, but then it makes this messier. This is a lot of work for me. If you have a better/less angle-able solution lmk and we’ll try it. But I don’t think any numbers should be revealed until they’re all revealed at once. Then have a day or two period of solving discrepancies, then have days of swapping. You can’t do some swapping some days before others even submit tabs, it makes this madness, and probably avoids you from getting your most ideal swaps.

Side note- we’re now here without a swap machine trying to figure this all out because some people couldn’t post numbers on time (still can’t) and people wanted to be jerks to the guy who was taking care of all this for us because their internet egos are gigantic. *shrug*

Nobody revealed any numbers from non posters except those posting their entire tab itt(I don't recommend anyone do this moving forward). If both parties have submitted there is no reason not to reveal those tabs and swap if possible. If I would have revealed 625 for gaffon he should pop in and say I had 611, and we could have worked on the discrepancy, but since it matched (he was surprised it did I am guessing by his post)we were able to swap it out. I am not sure why you are looking to make this much work for yourself? Imo the only reason we are sending you numbers, is so at the end of the week you can post it and we can see if anyone didn't speak up about a discrepancy or posted a number that didn't match what they sent you. Basically a behind the scenes way to prevent angling, which hopefully isn't going to happen.

If people just post itt "sent tab" this should work just fine. And the responsibility falls on us not you to post those tabs. Now you are posting if both number agree and ect, you will be burned out just like billy was and it will start to effect your attitude in thread and towards other as well. Mainly those late posting or ignoring to follow rules. Let's face it, we all were amazed why someone would donate hours a week to a thread they weren't even betting in for half the year. Let's not blame people for why Billy quit, it was bound to happen unless he likes being taken advantage of. I asked if the program was for sale he said no, so we thank him for his time and energy he put into this place for a year plus but it's time to move on.

Ryh we just had two different ideas about how we were going to handle tabs.

I think mine is the cleanest in terms of handling discrepancies and swapping ideally, yours is the fastest for people who submit tabs early.

We can go with yours, it’s miles easier for me. I will just receive tabs and can serve as a failsafe if anyone thinks they’re being angled. I won’t post any tabs sent to me itt.

We need 1. a place to submit blind tabs and 2. a way to verify what others submitted to ensure no angles and protect everyone.
