Looks like I have a discrepancy with Whoyouwit and Homanga from 8-15 that was brought to my attention. I can't stress enough how updating numbers will prevent this from happening. I have to go through 500 posts now to find out who owes what to who. Good times.

I need a ruling here:

Week ending 8-1 I had a balance of -270 with Homanga and -100 with whoyouwit.

on 8-2 fubster swapped out 140 with homanga bringing our balance to -130.
on 8-17 homanga swapped out the 130 with whoyouwit bringing our balance to 0 and my balance with whoyouwit to -230. I swapped out 100 of this whoyouwit balance afterwards.

I did not have any action with homanga after this.

On 8-22 I posted I owed homanga -230 and proceeded to swap out subsequent balance. so basically I never put the swap on my sheet, and rolled the balance I owed him, when I never owed him in the first place.

so going forward I am adding to my numbers the following:

whoyouwit -130
homanga +230

Does that make sense?

If this is what actually happened, then yes it makes sense. Unless one of those two wants to go through 500+ posts to check your math and attempt to prove you wrong, I see no issue with this

If we're posting numbers on Tuesdays now and someone is booking bets on Wednesday night without numbers posted it needs to be called out immediately and that persons action should be cut off until their numbers are posted and updated with swaps imo. I will probably implement this as a personal rule anyway, because it is a huge pain in the dick to un**** even a small **** up like this one

i have been late a few times myself so im guilty as well. sometimes a reminder is helpful

Have said it a lot of times over the years but the chronic late numbers posting is at worst angle-shooting and at best lazy. The fact we have to spend all week settling numbers when the whole thread could easily be settled in a day or two has always frustrated the hell out of me.

100% agree with late numbers posting, especially with NFL coming up. monday night is numbers night. i'm far from innocent here but i'd never bet without having posted preswap numbers at a minimum.

I plan to continue not betting unless my numbers are posted fyi. It was an iron clad rule when this thread was created and I never got away from it. I actually tried to make sure it stayed enforced when it started to get sloppy and no one really backed me up. Bronbron was the one who gave me the biggest hard time and we see how that turned out. I will continue to not bet without posting numbers, it is really not that hard.
