Absolutely, its not the same result?

One reduces both overall thread tabs/balances, the other unnecessarily bloats both sides of Zims positive/negative tabs.

With a 3 person swap there are literally only 2 options:

There are only 2 types of swaps to do w 3 ppl. This is by far the most common 3 person swap and it's completely standard to square the guy w one plus and one minus and make his lowest balance the zero one.

its hard enough getting everyone to do numbers and swaps and then when people do swaps/numbers and sit and have to listen to people nit pick is cringe worthy to me. my .02 on the matter

I would tend to agree with this. I haven't looked at the specific swaps in this case so I haven't even understood the arguments, but swaps should basically be on a first come, first serve basis. For example, if you show up on Thursday night and wish the swaps had been more convenient for you, tough ****.
