I feel compelled to write this. WillHill are absolutely useless. So much downtime it's unreal (although most is at 5am GMT, this still poses problems for me).

Today get a somewhat standard "you will be logged out in 1 minute but you will be able to instantly log on again"

..ok, fine, shouldn't be too much of a problem. Oh, thanks, "your account has been locked". This type of **** happens so much more than with any other client.

Oh, and also their customer service is AIDS.

Cheers, Egg.

I've also heard that autorebuy on the dollar and pound tables (assuming your account is in euros) also costs you tons of fees.

Can anyone confirm this?
they often round up to the penny so it costs you aprox 1c or 1p depending on your account currency. above micro stakes it shouldnt really have an impact

In regards to the auto top up "Office Space" 1c rip off...

It's really sick/genius to think someone ACTUALLY wrote this into their software years ago and has gotten away with it. It's insane to think how much money they have made off of the top up scam. AFAIK they have had this on their client since the beginning of the iPoker network. It took players years to discover it.

I'm sure most know this idea was used in a comedy movie called Office Space (1999). Their coding backfires and ends up taking way more than a penny on each transaction.

Thinking about it, someone is seriously cashing in on the penny scam here. I'm guessing from a full time player they get $20-50 monthly. For 100nl+ players it isn't that big of a deal but it definitely hurts the micro players.

Oh yes, I believe playtech/ipoker says that they do this to ensure they don't lose on currency exchanges... which also brings the question why on earth would you have 3 currencies running unless it wasn't more profitable?

So, I just joined ipoker.. and I'm playing 50nl heads up.

What the **** is up with all the regs refusing action if you have even the most rudimental grasp of heads up play and even worse.. winning a buyin (or even half a buyin) and sitting out.

It's tilting me beyond belief. It takes me ages just to find a game and then when I do it lasts 30 hands. What a bunch of ****ing cowards?!?!

Just sayin'

People care more about making money than measuring dicks with other regs. It's logic, really.

Yeah, I'm sure the bumhunters who got stuck at 50nl because they never played anyone with a brain are making the big bucks. That's logic, really.

I got the account locked message after several failed log in attempts too. Support said:

"We would like to confirm that William Hill Poker had recently undergone a technical issue that had prevented players from logging in and even caused temporary lock outs as a result of a bug that has now been rectified.

You may now try to log back in to your account and resume your gaming."

Ah ipoker...

Following the poker small stakes thread, this 1 and a few others it seems u r full of contradictions and absurdly inaccurate statements. Don't think I have disagreed with nearly all of what 1 person writes before.

That's what I was thinking, and precisely why I'll play anyone and everyone regardless of skill up to 200nl. If I lose money, I'll study HEM and work out where my leaks are.. Improve.. Crush.

I don't mind if someone sits out and politely says "sorry, I don't want to play you. Gg" but that's a rare commodity.

So, what can I do to overcome this? I was just getting into hu..

they could lose tonnes of currency exchanges and its still mega +EV to have euros and pounds, as they rake £3 rather than $3 right? so you pay like 50% more rake at £ tables

Try sitting with regs at 6 max table, usually they'll play you and the table won't fill very fast.

At least at 400nl.
