PT3 is that slow eh? That's what I've been hearing. I've been fiddling with the program lately. So far I like PT2 better. If PT3 is slower, then there's really no point in using it.

I have 3 gb of ram and I plan on overclockin my pc cuz poker uses so many resources *sigh. Thank God we get paid well. I bought a pc last year just because my hud was running slow...

Yea, apparently PT3 works for some but is absolutely horrible and laggy for others. Even with the new Beta 15 release which is supposed to have increased HUD performance, it is -ev for me to play poker with. It lags all the time, has caused me to time out on numerous occasions and crashes every couple minutes. (make sure u are playing 5 NL if u test it for mass tables)

I will be sticking with PT2 for the time being, but I sure hope that they can figure out a way to make PT3 stable because other than the HUD problems, it is a pretty sick program.

I havent tested HM but probably will later today. I looked at screenshots of the HM HUD and it doesnt look as customizable. I could be wrong but it seems like its only one box of statistics where with Pokertracker you can have a bunch of individual boxes that u can place around the peoples names. Is this correct?

I was actually just playing around with HM a little bit and the HUD stats are movable and can be separated. It is pretty much identical to the PT3 HUD without the lag. Havent tried multitabling on it yet thou.

Whats the best way to use Iron Man Medals...I have 2600 and about 400 pending.
I also have 235,000 FTP's...
My options are to use the Medals to but FTP's and get the 42 INCH TV, or use the Medals to get the $600 Bonus, and then get the 30 Inch monitor or whatever later.
Any thoughts?

I do not have a FT account. I intend to create one. Is there anything I should know about rakeback? Is there any reason to choose any particular affiliate over another? I've kind of googled it and searched the rakeback forum a bit, but it's hard to know what and who to listen to since everyone has their own agenda... so yeah, just let me know if there's anything I need to make sure not to screw up on.

I'm under the impression there are various companies that are all reputable that offer the same rakeback. I just want to make sure I don't end up with one that's shady or that there's something else I don't know just because I've never paid any attention at all to the rakeback industry.

i would say raketracker. i mean i am biased as i do business with them, but they have been around for ever and have a rock solid reputation. you can say that about a few others also though.

rakeupdate (i think they go by the name rakereduction) has worked out well for me. pretty much whenever i request a cashout, they get it to me within 15 minutes into my full tilt acct.
