Today I wanted to play nice sunday donk infested session. However, I realized that since the war was waged on pokerstars against shortstacks, they have apparently infested FTP. Many of my tables I counted 6 shortstacks. This infuriates me.

Luckily, there is a simple solution to this. START DEEP TABLES.

Now I know what your thinking. "NFM Im scared of deep tables, thats too much money" Well luckily for those of you that dont have the balls or bankrolls to play deep, you can STILL buy in for your pansy 100bbs at deep tables.

Your also probably thinking "but NFM i like the fish that buy in for <50bbs " ok but most fish at these levels dont like the shortstackers either. Most fish are capable of buying in for 50bbs and will. This is especially true if the majority of tables are DEEP and there are minimal short tables.

I would like to employ a similar strategy that the genius pokerstars crew has done. Open up as many deep tables as possible and leave them open. THIS HAS WORKED AT POKERSTARS.

Sure. I never open regular tables anyway. I think the main competitive problem we have is that the PS guys apparently can open a ton of deep tables and sit out on them overnight without getting booted off. I think FT boots you off if you sit out for more than 15-30 mins. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

If I see you in this thread again, me and a few of the FT regs will come over and start shortstacking at PS. :-P

All the more reason this needs to be a group effort if this is true

yea i just tried this and got booted after like 15 mins

it must be reasonably simple to make a program that auto opens deep tables ever 15 minutes

tbh, I don't think this would go over well with the people at FT. they would probably consider it interfering with their software.

Idid Idididid. I got him to 2 table HU for a bit and he spewed off there too but not all to me. The cons are that he snap quit me after the 33 hand

anyway, I see there are 7 deep tables, and dontT8kit started a lone regular table w $120. then fish sits down at regular table with $100, and it fills up within 30 seconds, and still a bunch of deep tables with 1 person on them. Instead of you guys sitting at different tables, maybe you should try sitting at ONE same table, and wait for a 3rd person to sit down if you don't want to play each other.

and you didn't raise him off every hand this time right? and maybe let him win a few blinds? ;-)

I sat alone at a deep table today for 30min+ and there were 4-5 on most waiting lists, wtf is wrong with you people.

Don't start deep tables w/ galacticaxxx or w/e he just ratholes you and hit n runs. I now grimm him whenever he sits but tit's probably +ev to play him anyways :/

We do need to start doing something at Full Tilt about all of these shortstackers. It will be worth the efforts to make sure we sit deep and can actually begin playing real poker again!

also, when not playing 16 or 24 tables... i like to find tables with some of the most hated shortstackers...and I buyin and sitout on their ALL THEIR TABLES... they hate playing 'shorthanded' and will often leave...

then i buy in for full amount and wait for fish and other regs

but yes... "TWO" regs should sit and open up a deep table... and sitout if you don't wnat to play each other til fish comes

I always start deep tables so I'm obv in for this.

Though I think that I'm pretty bad at HU, I will play almost everyone for a couple of minutes, so please join my tables, because it sucks to sit at 4 deep tables alone for 15 minutes.
